Cet outillage est caractérisé par un jeu de bondes d'enroulement interchangeables, par un jeu de cages interchangeables présentant un bord libre contre lequel. le bord circulaire correspondant d'un barillet est destiné à être appliqué pour ].'introduction du ressort estra- padé, e1;
Tools for slitting and putting the clock springs in place in the barrels. The present invention relates to a tool for stopping and putting the spells in place in the barrels.
This tool is characterized by a set of interchangeable winding plugs, by a set of interchangeable cages having a free edge against which. the corresponding circular edge of a barrel is intended to be applied for the introduction of the straddle spring, e1;
by device uri. having organs for receiving one of said bungs for winding a spring in one of said cages, means being provided so that the cage can perform a reverse movement relative to the bung, the barrel then coming momentarily occupy the place of said cage.
The accompanying drawing shows one embodiment of (the object (the) invention, given by way of example.
Fig. 1 is a side view, la. bung and the winding cage, as well as the members which are coaxial with them, being seen in section.
Fig. \ _ 'is a corresponding end view.
Fig. 3 shows, on a larger scale and in section, the bung, the cage, a slotted spring and a cylinder ready to receive it.
The apparatus shown comprises a base 1, which a tenon 2 makes it possible to clamp and hold between the jaws of a vice.
In this base rotates the axis 3, which drives the crank 4-, and whose free end can. receive a winding plug 5 of diameter corresponding to the characteristics of the spring to be stuck. This plug is part of a set of interchangeable plugs.
Around the axis 3 is a sleeve 6 that a return spring 7 tends to push forward, or in the direction of the bung, but of which a flange 8 limits the possible stroke.
This sleeve can receive a winding cage 9, the internal diameter of which corresponds to the desired external winding diameter. This cage is part of a set of interchangeable ca ges.
At 10, the plug 5 includes the hook for the spring. Slit diametrically in. 5a, the plug is driven in rotation by the pin 3a, integral with the axis 3. It is at most surrounded by a drum 5b, of external diameter corresponding to the internal diameter of the cage. This drum is used, as we will see, to push back the spring slipped into the barrel.
The section of FIG. 3 shows the elements that have just been described, in particular the cage 9, in which the res out 11 is estrapaclé.
Against the free circular edge of the opening of the cage is applied the corresponding edge of a barrel 12, into which the res comes out is intended to be introduced.
It is clear that by pushing the barrel 12 in the direction of the arrow 13, the cage 9 and the bush 6 will momentarily be pushed back against the action of the spring 7, the bung 5 and the remaining drum 5b, on the other hand. , axially motionless.
By this axial movement, the stranded spring will be pushed by the plug and the drum into the barrel which takes the place of the cage.
When the barrel containing the slipped spring is removed, the spring 7 returns the bush 6 and the cage 9 to the starting position, ready to slam a new spring.
