Description

Device for fixing the oscillating weight in a self-winding watch. The object of the present invention is a device for fixing the oscillating mass in a self-winding 1 -pe watch in which the mass pivots around an integral element called a movement.

The invention relates in particular to a fixing device comprising a plate housed on the upper face of said bundle, said plate having an opening whose edges cooperate with it. a neck provided on said axis.

such devices are already known in which such a wafer is retained in. up using a screw.

The invention aims to simplify this device (the fixing, and the one which is the subject thereof. Is characterized in that said plate is. Thin and elastic and in that it is held in place inside the device. a housing provided in the upper face of the oscillating weight.

The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the device according to the invention, only the components necessary for its understanding. represented.

La. Fi-- 1 is a plan view of the upper face of an oscillating weight, and FIG. '' is a section on line I1-11 of FIG. 1.

Oscillating weight 1 pivots by its barrel \? around an axis 3, integral with the movement of the watch. As it is, in common use, a. winding pinion 4 is eliassé on said barrel. Axis 3 is terminated in its upper part by a neck 5 and a head 6.

A housing 7, of elongated shape, is milled in the upper face of the oscillating weight, and a plate 8, thin, elastic and of shape corresponding to that of the housing 7, is intended to be housed inside this housing so as to fill it almost completely.

An opening 9 is provided in said plate and consists of a circular part 10 of diameter slightly larger than that of the head 6 of the axis 3 and of an elongated part 11, the lateral edges of which are approximately parallel. , engage around neck 5, under head 6.

An inlet 12, the function of which will be explained later, is also provided in the oscillating mass towards one end of said housing, on its periphery.

To fix the oscillating weight in place, the plate 8 is placed parallel to its housing, passing part 10 of its opening over it. head 6 of axis 3, then we simply slide the plate to the bottom of its housing, making sure that the side edges of part 11 are engaged around the collar 5 under the head 6. This operation is facilitated thanks to the flexibility of the insert 8.

To remove this plate and. disassemble the oscillating mass, it suffices to introduce, for example, a tip of the tweezers in the en. 12 to lift the plate S out of its housing 7, then pinch this plate in the tweezers and withdraw it parallel to the housing 7, until the part 10 of the opening 9 comes around the neck n and can. be released from the head 6 of the axis 3.

In addition to the advantage of not requiring any fixing latch, this device offers that of being stable, even under the action of shocks that the watch may undergo in use.
