Fig. 1 en est une vue -en plan.
Device for driving the barrel axis by friction, for winding a timepiece. The subject of the invention is a device for driving the axis of the barrel by friction, for winding a timepiece.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the device according to the invention.
Fig. 1 is a plan view.
Fig. 2 is a sectional view taken on _9.-B of FIG. 1.
In the drawing, 1 designates the barrel axis of a timepiece, to which is fixed! One of the ends of the mainspring (not shown). Above the barrel bridge 2, the axis 1 has a cylindrical bearing surface 3 of reduced diameter. On -this scope is mounted crazy a ratchet 4 for driving the axis 1. This ratchet 4 is driven by the pinion 5 of a winding wheel 6.
On the bearing surface 3 of the axis 1 is also mounted an elastic washer 7 having a circular central hole. The ratchet 4 is provided, in its upper face, with a circular hollow S. The elastic washer 7 comes to bear, by its outer edge, in the circular hollow, so that this edge presses at the same time on the bottom of the recess and against the cylindrical wall thereof, which ensures good friction between the washer and the ratchet.
The barrel axis 1 also has, at its end, a square bearing surface 9, as well as a screw 10 screwed into its end. This screw 10 is used to maintain a domed star spring 11 on the square bearing 9, against a shoulder formed between Res bearing 9 and 3.
The arms of this star-shaped spring press on the upper face of the ratchet 4 which is pressed against the shoulder 12 formed by the bearing surface 3t Friction takes place in this way at this location, between the ratchet 4 and the axis 1, friction contributing to the drive of the axis by the ratchet.
The drive of Q'axe 1 is obtained by the effect of the friction -entre washer 7 and ratchet. on the one hand, and between washer 7 and spring 11 on the other hand, as well as by the effect of the friction between the spring 11 and the ratchet 4, in addition, the cooperation of the washer 7 and the spring 11 ensures smooth operation of the device.
The domed spring 11 could also have another shape, for example have a number of arms other than four or have a circular circumference and then have at least one hole making it possible to immobilize it during the blocking or unblocking of the screw 10.
The device shown and described is easy to assemble and disassemble, owing to the fact that the axis 1_ can easily be maintained by its square by means of the star 11 during the locking and unlocking of the screw M < / B>
