Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines araliphatischen Amins. Gegenstand vorliegenden Patentes ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines araliphati- schen Amins. Das Verfahren ist dadurch ge kennzeichnet, dass man 1-[4'-(4"-Methoxy- phenoxy) -phenyl]-2-methyl-3-amino-pentan mit Formaldehyd unter Reduktion zum 1-[4'- (4"- Methoxy-plienoxy) - phenyl] -2 - methyl-3- methylamino-pentan umsetzt. Die neue Ver bindung siedet unter 0,5 mm Druck bei 172 .
Sie soll als Arzneimittel Verwendung finden. <I>Beispiel:</I> 28,5 Teile 1-[4'-(4"-Methoxy-phenoxy)- phenyl]-2-methyl-3-amino-pentan werden in 120 Teilen 94%igem Alkohol gelöst und mit 10 Teilen 30 ö iger Formaldehydlösung ver setzt. Man rührt 4 Stunden bei Raumtempera tur. Dann setzt man 6 Teile Aluminiumamal gam zu und erwärmt auf. 50 bis 60 .
Nach 12 Stunden wird vom Aluminiumhydroxyd abfiltriert, dieses gut mit Alkohol ausgewa- sehen, der Alkohol abdestilliert und das ge bildete sekundäre Amin in verdünnter Salz säure gelöst und, wenn notwendig, filtriert. Die Base wird dann mit Natronlauge in Frei heit gesetzt und in Äther aufgenommen. Die ätherische Lösung wird mit wasserfreiem Na triumsulfat getrocknet, der Äther abdestilliert und das 1-[4'-(4"-Methoxy-phenoxy)-phenyl]- 2-methyl-3-methylamino-pentan bei 172 unter 0,5 mm Druck destilliert.

The process is characterized in that 1- [4 '- (4 "-methoxyphenoxy) -phenyl] -2-methyl-3-aminopentane with formaldehyde with reduction to 1- [4'- (4" - Methoxyplienoxy) - phenyl] -2 - methyl-3-methylamino-pentane. It should be used as a medicine. <I> Example: </I> 28.5 parts of 1- [4 '- (4 "-methoxy-phenoxy) -phenyl] -2-methyl-3-aminopentane are dissolved in 120 parts of 94% alcohol and 10 parts of 30% formaldehyde solution are added, the mixture is stirred for 4 hours at room temperature, 6 parts of aluminum amalgam are then added and the mixture is heated to 50 to 60%.
After 12 hours, the aluminum hydroxide is filtered off, washed thoroughly with alcohol, the alcohol is distilled off and the secondary amine formed is dissolved in dilute hydrochloric acid and, if necessary, filtered. The base is then set free with sodium hydroxide solution and taken up in ether. The ethereal solution is dried with anhydrous sodium sulfate, the ether is distilled off and the 1- [4 '- (4 "-Methoxyphenoxy) phenyl] - 2-methyl-3-methylamino-pentane at 172 under 0.5 mm pressure distilled.
