Dans la première forme d'exécution mon trée dans la partie .gauche de la fig.1, la couronne de remontoir 1 possède une noyure coaxiale 2 recevant le paquetage qui est ici constitué par trois rondelles 3, 4 et 5 en matière souple et élastique, par exemple en résine synthétique, et qui doit être un peu serré contre le fond de ladite noyure par un couvercle 6 fileté, prenant dans la couronne;
Le paquetage est composé de deux rondelles. 15 et 16, en caoutchouc synthétique, dont le trou 7 est plus petit que le tube 8 qu'elles. doivent enserrer et qui est montré en pointillé dans le paquetage;
Mainly, but not exclusively, watch case. The object of the present invention is to prevent the package or seal from being pinched, respectively pushed back, at the entrance between the cover and one of the operating and guiding members, in which it is held and towards the bottom between said members, and also to obtain a more elastic friction, therefore smoother between these elements.
The present invention relates to a case mainly, but not exclusively ment, for a watch, having at least one operating member which passes through a guide member, one of these members having a core closed by a cover and in which is housed an elastic annular package.
This box is characterized in that this package has at least one annular recess located between two parts which enclose one of the guiding and operating members, recess in which these parts can extend when they are pushed back by. the organ they enclose.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example and in part, four embodiments of the object of the present invention.
The left part of fig. 1 shows a first embodiment.
The right parties of the. fig.1 shows a second embodiment. Fig.2 shows a third embodiment.
Fig.3 shows a fourth embodiment. Figs. 1 and 2 of the first, second and third embodiments, are each a partial axial section, in which the operating member is a winding crown containing the package and the guide member is the tube integral with the box.
Fig. 3 is a partial axial section through the parts of the fourth embodiment in which the operating member is a winding crown and the guide member is the tube, containing the package, attached to the box.
In all the embodiments of the drawing, only the tube, which must be integral with the box and serves as a support for the crown, is shown. Furthermore, for ease of description, the package is not squeezed by the cover which holds it and it does not squeeze the tube.
In the first embodiment shown in the left part of fig.1, the winding crown 1 has a coaxial core 2 receiving the package which here consists of three washers 3, 4 and 5 of flexible and elastic material , for example in synthetic resin, and which must be a little tight against the bottom of said core by a threaded cover 6, taking in the crown;
1st hole 7 of washers 3. And 5 is smaller than tube 8, while that of ron delle 4 is larger than tube, so that the package has two end parts 9 and 10 which must tightly enclose said tube, shown in dotted lines in the package, and an inner void recess 11 into which these end portions re-trodden by the tube can extend.
This prevents the formation of a bead which will be pinched between the hole in the cover 6 and the tube, and that the package is pushed back below the latter where it extends over time and ultimately prevents putting the crown in the winding position, after setting the time of the watch, because the narrowed end of the hole in the package, by acting on the rounded one of the tube,
tends to move the crown away from the box; this bead in the hole in the cover not only provides an undesirable increase in friction of the crown when winding the watch, but it risks being ultimately torn off, which damages the package. The diameter of the washers.
3 and 4 correspond to that of the threaded core of the crown, while the washer 5 is a little smaller, but the first two could, of course, be of the size of the latter.
The package could be formed of five washers, two of which would be equal to the washer 4, so that it would present two interior recesses forming two end parts and a median by tightening the tube and two annular spaces in which its repressed parts can be seated. 'extend @and serve as a lubrication chamber. It could also be a single piece having one or two recesses,
one form or another.
In the second embodiment, shown in the right part of FIG. 1, the crown core 12 has its smooth wall and the package is held there tight by a cover 13 which is crimped resting on the shoulder 14.
The package consists of two washers. 15 and 16, made of synthetic rubber, the hole 7 of which is smaller than the tube 8. must enclose and which is shown in dotted lines in the package;
the parts of these washers pushed back by the tube can find place in the recess 17 formed between them by the bevel 18- of the washer 15, which is a little smaller than the core of the crown, while the washer 16 is adjusted to it. These two washers, obviously.
may have the same dimension and be with or without play in said core; furthermore, their hole could be of different diameters.
The upper washer could also have a bevel, located opposite that of the lower washer. The two bi buckets together would form the annular recess.
We; could, in addition, design a bi bucket of the upper washer located facing the bottom of the. core containing the package.
In the third embodiment of FIG. 2, one uses half of the crown 1 of the right part da fig. 1 and the package consisting of three washers, as in the left part of said figure.
The intermediate ron delle 4 is forced into the smooth-walled core 12 of the crown, tan say that the washers 3 and 5 are smaller in diameter than said core; so that the latter are centered relative to the barrel of the crown, one interposes, during the assembly for example, a tube whose diameter and the hole correspond respectively to the hole of the washers and to the barrel of the crown.
The three. washers are brought together and assembled in a sealed manner to the crown by pressing them a little against the bottom of its core by means of the cover 23 which is used, resting on the shoulder 14 of the crown; the cover has a concentric recess 24 so that only one zone 25 acts on the washer 3.
The washer 4 being forced into the. core of the crown, it is understood that a slight pressure of the cover is sufficient for the three washers of the package to be assembled in a sealed manner to the crown.
With this way of doing things, the end washers 3 and 5 are joined to the crown by means of the thin washer 4 which, being a kind of elastic cushion, gives way radially under the similar thrust of the other washers when they grip the tube. of the box; the great advantage is thus obtained of producing a perfectly sealed ring with low friction, said system necessarily reducing the latter.
The different washers in the package may be of different elasticity, the one in contact with the bottom of the core being the most elastic.
In the fourth embodiment, shown in fig. 3, the operating member is also a winding crown 20, and the guide member a tube 21, protected by Swiss patent No. 207556, of September 7, 1938, which has a section of small diameter which is fixed to the box and which spreads out, has on the outside thereof in a basin in which the package 22, in one piece, is housed and is held there by a cover 23,
crimped as in the previous example. The hole in the package is, of course, smaller than the barrel 27 of the crown which it must tightly enclose, shown in dotted lines; said package, mounted with play in the tube, has an internal annular recess 26 in which the parts forced by the barrel 27 can extend.
The invention can be used, well in tension, for chronograph pushers.
