  Boîte métallique à fermeture étanche.



   L'invention a   pont objet    une boîte métallique à fermeture étanche pourvue d'une collerette sertie sur le bord supérieur du corps de boîte.



   Cette boîte se   earaetérise    par le fait que cette collerette est retournée intérieurement   sur elle-même    de   facon    à former deux   hanches    verticales espacées, dont   l'une,    la   branche    intérieure, se prolonge par une partie horizontale repliée aboutissant à un certain intervalle de la   branchue    externe.
   cette    boîte pent être munie d'un couvercle   qui    présente, de préférence, trois portées de   fermeture,

      à savoir deux portées verticales venant prendre appui respectivement sur les faces   internes    inférieure et supérieure de la collerette et une portée horizontale prenant appui sur ladite partie horizontale repliée de cette même collerette.



   Cette disposition   combinée    de la collerette et du couvercle procure ainsi, grâce à ce triple appui de fermeture, une étanehéité absolue de   I 'obturation.    D'autre part, la collerette assure en même temps que la rigidité du hord supérieur du corps de la boîte, grâce au sertissage, une bonne élasticité de la fermeture qui permet un enlèvement facile du couvercle.   



   Le e dessin annexé représente à titre    d'exemple une forme d'exécution de la boîte suivant l'invention.



   La fig. 1 est une coupe verticale de la boîte fermée par son couvercle et partiellement sectionnée en hauteur.



   La fig. la est une coupe de détail de la collerette sertie sur le bord supérieur du corps de boîte, et   du    couvercle en position de fermeture.



   La fig.   2    est une coupe du couvercle séparé de la boîte.



   La fig. 3 est la   eoupe    verticale de la boîte sans son couvercle.



   La fig. 3a est une coupe de détail de la collerette.



   Ainsi qu'on le voit sur ce dessin, le corps de boîte a, muni de son fond serti usuel b, comporte, sur SOll bord supérieur, une collerette rapportée c, sertie sur ce bord. La branche principale c de cette collerette, qui s'appuie sur le corps a, se prolonge, d'une part, vers le   liant    par une partie cl repliée et sertie extérieurement sur ce corps et, d'autre part, vers l'intérieur par une partie recourbée et montante   c2,    repliée elle-même à sa partie supérieure de fa con à former une branche dirigée vers l'extérieur, qui s'arrête à une certaine distance de la branche principale c, en laissant en regard de celle-ci un certain intervalle d.



   Le couvercle e, en forme de calotte, se prolonge sur son bord externe par un rebord vertical montant f, prolongé par une partie   fl    également verticale, mais   d'un    diamètre un  peu supérieur à celui de la partie inférieure f. Entre les deux parties verticales f et   fl    du rebord du couvercle se trouve une petite partie de raccordement horizontale   2,   
Enfin, l'extrémité supérieure du rebord du couvercle se termine par une petite partie roulée   f3,    qui, comme on le verra plus loin, sert à l'ouverture du couvercle.



   On comprend que, lorsque le couvercle est mis en place sur la boîte (fig. 1 et la), il vient prendre appui verticalement d'une part par sa partie fl, sur la partie supérieure de la branche c de la collerette et, d'autre part par sa partie f, sur la branche interne montante   c2    de cette même collerette; en outre, il vient par sa partie f2, faire pression sur la partie repliée, dirigée vers l'extérieur de la branche c2. Lorsque le couvercle est enlevé de la boîte, la branche c2 de la collerette prend la position montrée en traits pointillés en la fig. 3a. Pour raison de clarté du dessin le déplacement de la branche   c2    a été dessiné fortement exagéré.

   On comprend que la branche   c2    peut effectuer, grâce à   l'élasti-      eité    propre de la matière dont le couvercle est fait,   un    léger mouvement horizontal, et la partie courbée vers l'extérieur de la branche c un mouvement vertical, lors de la mise en place du couvercle sur la boîte. La branche   c2    assure ainsi une élasticité de fermeture dans le sens horizontal et dans le sens vertical, en plus d'une application énergique des portées d'appui du couvercle sur les éléments de la collerette, réalisant de la sorte   une    triple fermeture élastique qui assure une parfaite étanchéité de l'obturation.



     (Dette    fermeture s'obtiendra très facilement par le simple enfoncement, à la main, du couvercle dans la collerette terminant le corps de boîte.



   L'ouverture se fera également très commodément en introduisant un objet plat quelconque, métallique de   préférenee,    par exemple une simple pièce de monnaie, dans l'intervalle laissé entre le bord roulé   f3    du couvercle et le bourrelet supérieur de la eollerette. A cet effet, la partie supérieure f' du rebord du couvercle sera faite suffisamment hante pour ménager cet intervalle nécessaire pour la facilité   de    l'ouverture.



     Grâee    à la forme aplatie du retournement intérieur de la collerette, cette dernière ne prend à l'intérieur de la partie supérieure du   eorps    de boîte que la place la plus réduite, ce qui laisse, comme on le voit, le maximum d'ouverture pour la boîte. En outre, cette collerette, sertie sur le bord supérieur du corps de boîte, renforce notablement ce bord, qui offre toute la rigidité désirable et évite ainsi les déformations autrement fréquentes du bord.

   As can be seen in this drawing, the box body a, provided with its usual crimped bottom b, comprises, on SOll upper edge, an attached collar c, crimped on this edge. The main branch c of this collar, which rests on the body a, extends, on the one hand, towards the binder by a part cl folded over and crimped externally on this body and, on the other hand, towards the inside by a curved and rising part c2, itself bent at its upper part so as to form a branch directed outwards, which stops at a certain distance from the main branch c, leaving opposite the latter ci a certain interval d.



   The cover e, in the shape of a cap, is extended on its outer edge by a rising vertical rim f, extended by a part fl which is also vertical, but with a diameter slightly greater than that of the lower part f.    It is understood that the branch c2 can perform, thanks to the inherent elasticity of the material of which the cover is made, a slight horizontal movement, and the part curved towards the outside of the branch c a vertical movement, during the placing the cover on the box. The branch c2 thus ensures elasticity of closure in the horizontal direction and in the vertical direction, in addition to an energetic application of the bearing surfaces of the cover on the elements of the collar, thus achieving a triple elastic closure which ensures perfect sealing of the obturation.



     (Debt closure will be obtained very easily by simply inserting the cover by hand into the collar ending the body of the box.



   The opening will also be very conveniently by introducing any flat object, preferably metallic, for example a simple coin, in the gap left between the rolled edge f3 of the cover and the upper bead of the eollerette. For this purpose, the upper part f 'of the rim of the cover will be made sufficiently haunted to provide this necessary gap for ease of opening.



     Thanks to the flattened shape of the internal turn-over of the collar, the latter only takes up the smallest space inside the upper part of the box body, which leaves, as can be seen, the maximum opening for the box. In addition, this collar, crimped on the upper edge of the box body, significantly reinforces this edge, which offers all the desired rigidity and thus avoids the otherwise frequent deformations of the edge.
