Dans cette boîte, la lunette 15, qui entoure la paroi de la calotte et porte les anses., est assemblée à cette der nière de manière à maintenir en même temps en place la glace, en agissant sur tln épaule ment 9 de celle-ci par sa surface intérieure 10;
Dans la forme d'exécution de la fig. 5, c'est le rebord 44 de la carrure 41 qui pré sente da gerbe 47 dans laquelle est préalable ment pdac6 et partiellement logé le paquetage 46;
Waterproof case for watch movements and measuring devices. The object of the present invention is a sealed box, for holographic movements and measuring devices, in which the crystal has a rim assembled by encasement to a corresponding rim of the body (the < / B> the box,
characterized by a gasket that is located. partially housed in a groove of one of the edges before the mentioned casing and in which it is pressed and deformed by the surface facing the other edge, during the assembly of the: mirror.
The appended drawing shows, by way of example, several embodiments of the sealed box forming the subject of the invention.
Each of fig. 1 to 7 is a partial vertical section of one of these embodiments.
In the. embodiment of the. fi-. 1, 1 designates the middle part of a watch case and 2 the crystal made of unbreakable material, for example synthetic resin; the middle part has an inner tubular rim 3 and a concentric outer rib 4 on which a bezel 5 is hooked. A package or seal 6 of rectangular cross section is mounted de meure in a gouge 7 emerging inside the rim 2a of the. ice cream.
So that it can freely change shape when forced by fitting it on the edge 3 of the square, the housing in which it is located must have a slightly greater volume; this is why the package, shown in dotted lines in the free state, has clearance in height in the groove 7 of the mirror and that the lower lip 8, formed by the groove, is twisted.
There is thus a sealed box of easy manufacture and assembly, the glass of which is surely interchangeable, since the cooperating surfaces of the edges of the. because rure and ice do not require great precision, the last named being able to be just as easily adjusted freely, even by several hundredths, as tightening on that of the middle part.
To ensure the seal when internal pressure tends to release the. crystal, the latter is held in place by a shoulder 9 which abuts against the inner surface 10 of the bezel. 12 is the usual flange placed between the crystal and the movement dial.
The sealing package could have another section, be round for example. In the. embodiment of the, fi-. 2, the seal is still achieved by means of the seal 6 which is also located in a groove 7 of the rim 2a of the glass 2, by forcing it axially on an internal rim 3d'une .cull, 1 of the . box, rim similar to that of the previous embodiment.
Here, the housing for the package is still such that the latter becomes narrower but thicker during this operation; also shown in dotted lines in the free state, we see in fact that the thickness of the package 6, relative to the height of the groove 7 of the glass and da bevelled part .de the lower lip 8 thereof, allowing this modification of form.
In this box, the telescope 15, which surrounds the wall of the cap and carries the handles., Is assembled to the latter so as to keep the glass in place at the same time, by acting on the shoulder 9 thereof. by its inner surface 10;
the flange 12 is supposed to be in contact with the dial of the movement, the latter resting by the mesh of the plate on a shoulder of the middle part. The movement is thus immobilized in the casing while maintaining the crystal assembled to it by means of the bezel.
In the third embodiment, fig. 3, the package 6 is fitted onto a conical inner rim 23 of the middle part 21 which also possesses an outer rim 24 threaded externally and onto which the bezel 25 is screwed by hand, fluted or knurled for this.
In this case, the package, also shown in dotted lines in the free state, still has clearance in height in the groove 27 of the rim 22u of the ice 22 so that it can change shape when it is forced onto the conical rim. 23. It is the bezel 25 which, by its internal surface 30, coming into engagement with the shoulder 29 of the lens, keeps the latter in place.
In the fourth embodiment, fig. 4, the. seal 36 is this time partially housed in a groove 37 opening outside the rim 32a of the lens 32; the assembly is forced axially inside the rim 34 of the frame 31, this rim doing the office of Ihznet. A groove 33 allows the ice to be removed; notches distributed on its turn would fulfill the same purpose.
The height clearance of the package in the ice throat also allows the liner 36 to extend into it. the housing thus prepared when it is forced inside the rim 34 of the caseband. The cooperating surfaces of the rim of the gdiace, and of -that of the: middle are here cylindrical, shaving at least one could be - slightly conical; the. ice could also be assembled a bit on edge in the middle.
In the embodiment of FIG. 5, it is the rim 44 of the middle part 41 which presents a sheaf 47 in which the package 46 is previously pdac6 and partially housed;
the sealing of the crystal 42 is achieved by axially forcing its rim 42a inside the rim 44 of the middle part, as already indicated for the previous embodiment. The seal shown in dotted line in the free state a,
we eonutate it, enough clearance in height in the groove 47 so that it can freely change shape.
In the embodiment of FIG. 6, the seal 36 is partially. housed, as in fig. 4, in. an external groove 37 of the rim 32a of the glass 32 and the sealing thereof is achieved by fitting its rim, with the lining projecting therefrom, inside the thin rim 34 of the cap 31; the lining must then change shape and extend into the free part of its housing.
The bezel 15, which carries the handles and surrounds the cap, is assembled by fitting together by forcing it onto it. It could also be assembled on edge. The inner surface 20 of the bezel is supported on a shoulder 19 of the crystal and thus makes it possible to keep the crystal in place; the latter can, by means of the flange 14, in contact with the dial of the movement, immobilize the latter in the cap, on a shoulder of which it rests by its thread. casing.
The throat receiving the filling. of waterproofness could, of course, have the bottom shaped so that it can extend a little. In the last embodiment, fig. 7, the seal 56, of round section, is partially housed in a groove 57 of the rim 53 of the cap 51 of the.
box; the rectangular shape of the groove and its height allow the filling to find its place there when it is deformed under 1; i pressure exerted by the rim 52a of the glass 52 , fitted onto that of the cap carrying the trim.
The bezel 55, carrying the handles and surrounding the cap, is assembled therewith, so as to hold the crystal in place by its inner surface 50 pressing on that 49 of the. ice; the latter can thus thus, via the flange 54, in contact with the dial of the movement., immobilize the latter in the cap, as described with reference to FIG. 6.
In all the embodiments described, the seal, housed in a groove of a rim of one of the parts of the. box, extends in said groove under the pressure exerted by a surface of a rim of the other part to be assembled in a sealed manner; this surface, of course, could present a groove in which the gasket would penetrate to ensure the seal when the two parts of the. box in question are nested.
The invention is applicable to any kind of boxes, round or shaped, wristwatches or the like.
Cemme sealing is no longer carried out between the end of the rim of the glass r, t la. @carnure, it is possible, in the embodiments of fig. 4 and 5 for example, to use means - eccentric, screw, etc. - taking in the middle to fix 1? movement in it.
