Description

Bumper bearing for timepieces. The invention relates to a bumper bearing for a moving part of timepieces according to the claim of the main patent, that is to say comprising a pierced stone the bore of which is at a distance such from the plane of the support points. of said stone on the movement that a lateral force exerted on the pivot of the mobile causes the stone to tilt around its lower edge against the force of a spring tending to bring it back in place.

In the bearing according to the present invention, the stone has the shape of a bell and the bearing is characterized in that this stone is held in place by means of the kitten of a counter-pivot on which the spring presses.

The drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of a bumper bearing for a timepiece mobile according to the invention.

Fig. 1 is a sectional elevation in the normal position of the organs; fig. 2 is a similar section at the time when the shock changed the position of the organs.

Referring to the drawing, 1 designates the plate or the bridge of a clockwork movement in which a hollow has been made 2. In this hollow, a stone 3 has been placed in the shape of a bell. Its section therefore has uprights 4 and a middle part 6. On the upper, spherical part of the stone rests the kitten 15 of a counter-pivot 11. The interior angle 16 of this kitten only touches this spherical part and transmits the pressure of a spring 12 to stone 3.

When the part in which the bumper is mounted receives an impact, for example in the direction of the arrow shown in fig. 2, the pivot 7 of the mobile 8 exerts a lateral force on the stone 3 to make it tilt around its angle 13 until the pivot presses against the wall 14 of the opening made in the bottom of the recess 2. The bumper bearing therefore has only two elements: a counter-pivot set in a bezel and a pierced stone.

The vertical walls of the recess could be angled and open against at the top, so as to leave more room for a possible tilting of the pierced stone.
