Description

  

  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines     basischen    Esters einer     1-Aryl-eycloalkyl-l-carbonsäure.            Gegenstand    des vorliegenden Zusatzpaten  tes ist ein Verfahren zur Darstellung eines  basischen Esters einer     1-Aryl-cycloalkyl-l-          carbonsäure.    Das Verfahren ist dadurch ge  kennzeichnet, dass man     y-Dimethylamino-pro-          panol    auf eine Verbindung der Formel

    worin X einen bei der Reaktion sich abspal  tenden Rest bedeutet, gegebenenfalls in Ge  genwart eines Kondensationsmittels, einwir  ken lässt.  



  Der     1-(3'-Methyl-phenyl)-cyclopentyl-l-          oarbonsäure    - y -     dimethylamino    -     propanolester     bildet eine farblose Flüssigkeit vom Siede  punkt 117-120  unter 0,09 mm, sein Hydro  chlorid schmilzt bei 135-136 .  



  Die neue Verbindung soll     therapeutische     Verwendung finden.    <I>Beispiel:</I>  20,4 Teile     1-(3'-Methyl-phenyl)-cyclopen-          tyl-l-carbonsäure    werden mit     Thionylchlorid     in üblicher Weise in das Säurechlorid über  geführt und dieses in 200 Teilen absolutem  Benzol gelöst. Unter Rühren tropft man eine  Lösung von 10,3 Teilen     y-Dimethylamino-          propanol        in    50 Teilen absolutem Benzol zu  und erwärmt anschliessend 2 Stunden zum  Sieden. Man schüttelt zweimal mit Wasser  und einmal mit verdünnter     Salzsäure    aus.

   Die  vereinigten     wässrigen        Lösungen    werden     aus-          geäthert,    die Base mit     Pottasche    in Freiheit  gesetzt und in Äther aufgenommen. Die  ätherische Lösung wird mit Wasser gewa  schen, über Pottasche getrocknet und das  Lösungsmittel     abdestilliert.    Die neue" Ver  bindung siedet bei 117-120  unter 0,09 mm.  



  An Stelle des     Säurechlorids        können    auch  andere     Ilalobenide    der     1-(3'-Methyl-phenyl)-          cyölopentyl-1=earbonsäure,    die Säure     stelbst,     ihre     Ester    oder ihr     Anhydrid    verwendet  werden.

    where X is a radical which splits off during the reaction, optionally in the presence of a condensing agent, can be acted upon.



  The 1- (3'-methyl-phenyl) -cyclopentyl-l-carboxylic acid - y - dimethylamino - propanol ester forms a colorless liquid with a boiling point of 117-120 below 0.09 mm, its hydrochloride melts at 135-136.



  The new compound should find therapeutic use. <I> Example: </I> 20.4 parts of 1- (3'-methylphenyl) cyclopentyl-1-carboxylic acid are converted into the acid chloride with thionyl chloride in the usual way and this is dissolved in 200 parts of absolute benzene . A solution of 10.3 parts of γ-dimethylaminopropanol in 50 parts of absolute benzene is added dropwise with stirring and the mixture is then heated to boiling for 2 hours. It is extracted twice with water and once with dilute hydrochloric acid.

   The combined aqueous solutions are etherified, the base is set free with potash and taken up in ether. The ethereal solution is washed with water, dried over potash and the solvent is distilled off. The new connection boils below 0.09 mm at 117-120.



  Instead of the acid chloride, other ilalobenides of 1- (3'-methyl-phenyl) -cylopentyl-1-carboxylic acid, the acid itself, its ester or its anhydride can be used.

The 1- (3'-1-ethyl-phenyl) -cyclopentyl-1-carboxylic acid - y - dimethy lamino - propanol ester forms a colorless liquid with a boiling point of 117-120 below 0.09 mm, its hydrochloride melts at 135-136 . The new compound should find therapeutic use.
