Locking support device for a stationary bicycle. The object of the present invention is a locking support device for a bi-cycle stationary.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention.
Fig. 1 is a partial view of a bi-cyclette schematically showing the entire device in the rest position and in the working position.
Fig. 2 is a view of the device showing the locking mechanism in section, along X-X of FIG. 3.
Fig. 3 is a view of the device in working position.
Fig. 4 is a section along Y-Y of FIG. 3..
The device shown comprises a keel 1 visible in FIG. 1 and 3 and partially shown in FIG. 2 and 4. The stand 1 rotates around the axis 2 fixed perpendicular to one of the wings of a support 3 in the form of a square, fixed to the tube C of the frame. The axle is screwed into the hole 2 'of the support 3 and makes the stand 1 integral with the latter. The axis 2 is blocked by the -stop pin A embedded in the hole d 'which passes through the axis 2 at point 0. The crutch 1 has a finger 1', the role of which is indicated below.
The crutch 1 can pivot between an extreme position shown in solid lines -on fig. 1, which is its working position and another extreme position, shown in phantom in this figure, and which is its rest position. Given the inclination of the kickstand in the active position, with respect to the median plane of the bicycle, it follows that when the kickstand is in the working position, the bicycle is slightly inclined with respect to the vertical and becomes perfectly stable on the ground, as seen in fig. 1.
The finger 1 'of the stand is in its active position, engaged between the spokes of the rear wheel of the cycle and locks the latter.
A locking mechanism is provided for locking the crutch in one or the other of its extreme positions. This mechanism is visible in section in FIGS. 2 and 4. The mechanism in question comprises a latch 4 housed in a socket 5 driven into a cylindrical hole 4 'drilled in the support 3. This latch is biased by a spring 6 lobed in the space 7 formed between the latch and the socket 5 to come to engage in the hole 8 of the crutch into which the socket 9 is driven.
In this position, the rounded end of the lock 4 presses on the head of the control pushbutton 10 and applies it to the bottom of the housing 8 of the crutch. There is provided a second control button 10 'housed in the hole 11 of the crutch into which the socket 12 is driven.
When the crutch is in the active position, the latch 4 actuated by the spring 6 engages the socket 9 and immobilizes the crutch. If you now act by hand on the control button 10 by pressing it, this movement releases the latch 4 from the socket 9 and it is then possible to rotate the. crutch 1 to bring it into its. rest position, in which the latch 4, under the action of the spring 6, engages the socket 13 of the crutch, pushes the second control button 10 'and immobilizes the crutch 1 in the rest position. To bring the stand into the working position, a similar maneuver is carried out.
In location 20 is provided on the support 3 for the application of a cycle lock B shown in phantom in FIGS. 2 and 4. This lock com carries a bolt 13 which rotates at a right angle when it passes from its open position to its closed position. In this last position, the bolt blocks the lock 4 by its end 14.
The device is fixed to the frame of the cycle by a fixing flange 15 blocked by screws 16, 16 ', 16 "and 16"' inaccessible when the lock is in place. The crutch consists of an angled lever on the arm 17 'from which is driven a tube 1.7 provided, at its other end, with a point 18.
