Les fig. 1 et 2 sont des vues en élévation d'une serrure, selon la première forme d'exé cution supposée représentée avec les pênes dans deux positions différentes; La fig. 3 est une coupe suivant la ligne 8-3 de la fig. 1; La fig. 4 est une vue en élévation de la poignée intérieure; La fig. 5 est une coupe suivant la ligne 5-5 de la fig. 4;
Lock with two bolts. The present invention relates to a lock with two bolts provided with a handle fixed to an axis, characterized in that this axis is arranged to drive a slide which aims to operate one of the bolts and rotate a pusher which aim to operate the second bolt.
The appended drawing gives, by way of example, two embodiments of the object of the present invention.
Figs. 1 and 2 are elevational views of a lock, according to the first form of execution assumed to be shown with the bolts in two different positions; Fig. 3 is a section taken along line 8-3 of FIG. 1; Fig. 4 is an elevational view of the interior handle; Fig. 5 is a section taken along line 5-5 of FIG. 4;
Figs. 6 and 7 are elevational views of a lock according to the second embodiment, assumed to be shown with the bolts in different positions; Fig. 8 is a section taken along line 8-8 of FIG. 6; Fig. 9 is a section taken along line 9-9 of FIG. 6.
The lock of the first form comprising a pilaster 1, is provided with two bolts 2 and 3.
The bolt 2 normally occupying the closed position can be withdrawn from this position by a slide 4 capable of moving in a slide provided in the pilaster 1. This slide 4 is provided with a spout 6 intended to act against the unit 7 which can rotate around an axis 8 fixed in the pilaster 1. This part 4 presses on the side of a notch provided in the bolt 2 which is biased by a spring 23, acting on the second side of the same notch, to occupy the closed position. The operation of the bolt 2 is controlled by lifting a handle 9 capable of moving in the pilaster 1.
This handle is provided with an axis 10 held in a housing provided in a plate 11 by means of a part 12 screwed on the plate 11. This plate 11 carries an axis of which a part 12 'is cylindrical and a part 13 square. The cylindrical bearing surface 12 'engages in a suitable opening provided in the slide 4 and slides, to control the vertical movement of the slide 4, in a slide 101 provided in the face of the pilaster 1. The plate 11 is provided with balls 14 which, by rolling on the anterior face of the pilaster, reduce friction.
The bolt 3 can be operated by a pusher 15 in which is provided a square hole intended to receive the square part 13 of the axis of the handle. This pusher 15 presses on the side of a notch provided on the side of the bolt 3 and pushes the latter in the opening direction when the handle is turned: the bolt 3 being urged to be brought in the opposite direction by the 'action of a spring 221 acting on the second side of the notch provided in the bolt 3. Two stops 16 and 17 guide the pusher 15 during its vertical movement and the stop 16 prevents it from rotating until it 'not occupy the position indicated in fig. 2.
In the second embodiment, the main elements of the lock are the same as in the first embodiment and designated by the same numbers; however, the axis of the handle 9 comprises, in addition to the cylindrical part 12 'and the square part 13, a third part which is also cylindrical 18 and able to move in an opening 19 provided in the pilaster. The pusher 15 is provided with an angled slide 20 in which the titi finger 21 integral with the bolt 3 moves.
To open the lock titi lift the handle 9 which drives the slide -1. This brings the bolt, \ 3 into its open position by means of said lever 7. During this time the finger 21 (so guided by the vertical part of the slide 20, the pusher 15 rises vertically. Then the bolt 3 is brought into its open position by turning the pusher 15. During this movement, the finger 21 is guided by the curved part of the slide 20.
When we abandon the handle 9, the return spring 2? returns the bolt 3 to its closed position. The pusher 15 and the handle 9 are returned to their vertical position. The pusher 1.5 and the slide 4 fall back under the force of their weight. The lever 7 is released and the return spring 23 returns the bolt 2 to its closed position.
