Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent Nr. 217769. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Schwefelfarbstoffes. Vorliegendes Patent bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Schwefel farbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man Dinitrodibenzodiazapyren (hergestellt durch Nitrieren des 4,5,9,10-dibenzo-3,8-diazapyrens in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit 2 Mol. 100%iger Salpetersäure) mit einem schwe felnden Mittel behandelt.
Der so erhaltene Farbstoff ist ein schwar zes Pulver und färbt die pflanzliche Faser aus dem Schwefelnatriumbad in bräunlich oliven Tönen.
Beispiel: In eine Polysulfidschmelze aus 56 Teilen luistallisiertem Schwefelnatrium und 32 Tei len Schwefel werden bei Kochtemperatur 20 Teile Dinitrodibenzodiazapyren (herge stellt durch Nitrieren des 4,5,9,10-Dibenzo- 3,8-diazapyrens in konzentrierter Schwefel säure mit 2 Mol. 100%iger Salpetersäure) eingetragen. Bei einer Kochtemperatur von etwa<B>118'</B> C wird die Reaktionsmischung einige Zeit unter Rückflusskühlung gekocht und dann die Schmelze eingetrocknet.
Der Trok- kenrückstand wird in einem Backofen-etwa 4 Stunden auf 280 bis 800 C erhitzt. Die fertige Schmelze wird mit Salzwasser von <B>10'</B> Be. verrührt und der Farbstoff durch Absaugen, Waschen und Trocknen als schwarzes Pulver gewonnen.

Example: 20 parts of dinitrodibenzodiazapyren (produced by nitrating 4,5,9,10-dibenzo- 3,8-diazapyrene in concentrated sulfuric acid with 2 mol. 100% nitric acid) entered. At a boiling temperature of about 118 ° C., the reaction mixture is refluxed for some time and then the melt is dried.
The dry residue is heated to 280 to 800 ° C. in an oven for about 4 hours. The finished melt is mixed with salt water of <B> 10 '</B> Be. stirred and the dye obtained as a black powder by suction, washing and drying.
