Description

  

      Zusatzpatent        zum    Hauptpatent Nr. 217769.    Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     Schwefelfarbstoffes.       Vorliegendes Patent bezieht sich auf ein       Verfahren    zur Herstellung eines Schwefel  farbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man       Dinitro-dinaphtha-4,10-diazaperylen,    wie es  durch     Erhitzen    von     1,5.-Di-2'-naphthylamino-          anthrachinon        in    Phosphorsäure und Nitrieren  des so erhaltenen     Dinaphtho-4,

  10--diazapery-          lens    mit     ungefähr    der berechneten Menge  Salpetersäure in Gegenwart von konzentrier  ter Schwefelsäure erhältlich ist, mit einem  schwefelnden Mittel behandelt.  



  Der so erhaltene Schwefelfarbstoff ist ein  schwarzes Pulver und färbt die pflanzliche  Faser     aus    dem     Schwefelnatriumbade    in       braunstichi.g        oliven    Farbtönen von beson  derer Lichtechtheit.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  In eine     Polysulfidschm-elze    aus 140 Teilen       kristallisiertem    Schwefelnatrium und 80  Teilen     Schwefel    werden bei     Kochtemperatur     40 Teile     Dinitro-dinaphth-o-4,10-diazaperylen     eingetragen, wie es durch Nitrieren des Di-         naphtho-4,10-diazaperylenss    (siehe Schweizer  Patent Nr. 220665) in konzentrierter Schwe  felsäure mit     etwas    mehr als der berechneten  Menge     .Salpetersäure    erhältlich ist. Bei einer  Temperatur von l18  wird einige Stunden  am     Rückflusskühl    r gekocht, -dann wird die  Schmelze eingetrocknet.

   Hierauf wird :die  Temperatur allmählich auf 260  erhöht und  6 Stunden bei 260-270  gehalten. Nach dem  Aufschliessen .des Rohproduktes mit Schwe  felnatrium und Natronlauge wird der Farb  stoff aus seiner wässerigen Lösung durch  Ansäuern     abgeschieden.

  <I> Example: </I> 40 parts of dinitro-dinaphth-o-4,10-diazaperylene are introduced into a polysulfide melt of 140 parts of crystallized sodium sulfur and 80 parts of sulfur at the boiling point, as is 4,10-diazaperylenss (see Swiss patent no. 220665) in concentrated sulfuric acid with a little more than the calculated amount. Nitric acid is available. The mixture is refluxed for a few hours at a temperature of 118, then the melt is dried.

   The temperature is then gradually increased to 260 and held at 260-270 for 6 hours. After digestion of the crude product with sodium sulphide and sodium hydroxide solution, the dye is separated from its aqueous solution by acidification.
