Description
Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent Nr. 226453. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Schwefelfarbstoffes. Vorliegendes Patent bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Schwefel farbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man 14-Methylcoeramidonin mit einem Alkali- Polysulfid in Gegenwart eines Kupfersalzes behandelt.
Der so erhaltene Farbstoff ist ein schwärz liches Pulver und färbt die pflanzliche Faser aus dem Schwefelnatriumbad in braunstichig oliven Tönen von guter Echtheit, insbeson dere von guter Lichtechtheit.
<I>Beispiel:</I> In eine Polysulfidschmelze aus 70 Teilen kristallisiertem Schwefelnatrium und 40 Tei len Schwefel werden bei Kochtemperatur 20 Teile 14-Methyleoeramidonin, hergestellt zum Beispiel nach dem Verfahren der deutschen Patentschrift Nr. 126444, und 5 Teile Kup- fervitriol eingetragen. Bei einer Temperatur von 118 wird mehrere Stunden unter Rück- fluss gekocht, dann die Schmelze eingetrock net; anschliessend die Temperatur auf etwa 270 erhöht und 8 Stunden bei 270 bis 280 gehalten.
Nach dem Aufschliessen des Roh produktes mit Schwefelnatrium und Natron lauge wird der Farbstoff aus seiner wässrigen Lösung durch Ansäuern abgeschieden.

The dye obtained in this way is a blackish powder and dyes the vegetable fiber from the sulfur-sodium bath in brownish olive tones of good fastness, in particular good light fastness.
<I> Example: </I> In a polysulfide melt of 70 parts of crystallized sodium sulphide and 40 parts of sulfur, 20 parts of 14-methyleoeramidonine, prepared for example according to the method of German patent specification No. 126444, and 5 parts of copper vitriol are added at the boiling temperature registered. At a temperature of 118, the mixture is refluxed for several hours, then the melt is dried up; then the temperature was increased to about 270 and held at 270 to 280 for 8 hours.
After the raw product has been broken down with sodium sulphide and sodium hydroxide solution, the dye is separated from its aqueous solution by acidification.
