Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Kondensationsproduktes.    Es wurde gefunden, dass man ein neues  Kondensationsprodukt erhält, wenn man auf       Stearoylmethylamid    ein     Mol    des     3-Sulfochlo-          rids    der     Benzoesäure    in Gegenwart von     Py-          ridin    einwirken lässt. Das neue Produkt bildet  ein weisses Pulver, das sich in Wasser unter  Bildung stark schäumender Lösungen löst und  als     Hilfsstoff    in der Textilindustrie verwen  det werden kann.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  3 Teile     Stearoylmethylamid    werden mit  4.4 Teilen     Benzoesäure-3-sulfochlorid    in 30  Teilen     Pyridin    während 1 Stunde auf 80-90    erhitzt, wonach sich eine Probe in Wasser  klar auflöst. Nach weitgehender     Entfernung     des     Pyridins    im Vakuum wird der helle, fiüs-         sige    Rückstand mit 400 Teilen Wasser auf  genommen, mit verdünnter     Sodalösung    neu  tralisiert und das Reaktionsprodukt mit Na  triumchlorid     ausgesalzen.    Dasselbe wird ab  gesaugt und getrocknet.

  <I> Example: </I> 3 parts of stearoylmethylamide are heated with 4.4 parts of benzoic acid 3-sulfochloride in 30 parts of pyridine to 80-90 for 1 hour, after which a sample dissolves clearly in water. After extensive removal of the pyridine in vacuo, the pale, liquid residue is taken up in 400 parts of water, neutralized with dilute soda solution and the reaction product is salted out with sodium chloride. The same is sucked off and dried.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Konden sationsproduktes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man auf Stearoylmethylamid ein Mol des 3-Sulfochlorids der Benzoesäure in Gegenwart von Pyridin einwirken lässt. Das neue Pro dukt bildet ein weisses Pulver, das sich in Wasser unter Bildung stark schäumender Lösungen löst und als Hilfsstoff in der Textil industrie verwendet werden kann.
