  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Kondensationsproduktes.    Es wurde gefunden, dass man ein Kon  densationsprodukt erhält, das auf Grund  seiner     kapillaraktiven    Eigenschaften als Netz-,       Dispergier-,        Emulgier-,    Wasch- und Reini  gungsmittel in der Textilindustrie und Fär  berei Verwendung finden kann, wenn man       2-Pentadecyl-Q'-imidazolin,    Formaldehyd und       Natriumbisulfit    aufeinander einwirken lässt.  Die Umsetzung verläuft nach folgendem  Schema:

    Es entsteht das     Natriumsalz    der     2-Pentade-          cyl-dz-imidazolin-l-methansulfosäure.     



  Man kann die Umsetzung in Lösungs-    oder Verdünnungsmitteln, zweckmässig unter  Erwärmen, durchführen; man kann aber auch  die Komponenten direkt ohne Zuhilfenahme  von     Lösungsmitteln    zur Reaktion bringen,  gegebenenfalls unter Verwendung eines Über  schusses an Formaldehyd und     Natriumbisulfit.     Man kann zunächst den Formaldehyd auf  das     Natriumbisulfit    einwirken lassen, z. B.  auch in Gegenwart des     2-Pentadecyl-d2-          imidazolins.     



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  In 1     Mol        2-Pentadecyl-d2-imidazolin    wer  den bei 110-120   C langsam 2     Mol    des  Reaktionsproduktes aus Formaldehyd und       Natriumbisulfit    eingetragen. Die Schmelze  wird bis zur Wasserlöslichkeit auf 150 bis  160   C erhitzt. Nach etwa 1 Stunde ist die  Reaktion beendet. Nach dem Erkalten wird  der Schmelzkuchen zerkleinert. Das hellgelbe,  körnige Produkt ist unter Schäumen leicht  in Wasser löslich.

  <I> Example: </I> 2 mol of the reaction product of formaldehyde and sodium bisulfite are slowly introduced into 1 mol of 2-pentadecyl-d2-imidazoline at 110-120 C. The melt is heated to 150 to 160 C until it is water-soluble. The reaction has ended after about 1 hour. After cooling, the melting cake is crushed. The light yellow, granular product is easily soluble in water with foaming.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Konden- sationsproduktes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man 9.-Pentadecyl-d-'-imidazolin, Form aldehyd und Natriumbisulfit aufeinander ein wirken lässt. Das neue Kondensationsprodukt, das Na triumsalz der 2-Peritadecy l-:1=-imidazolin-I- methansulfosäure, stellt ein hellgelbes, kör- niges Produkt dar und soll als Hilfsmittel in der Textilindustrie und Färberei verwendet werden.
