Description

  

  Verfahren     zur    Herstellung eines neuen Farbstoffes.    Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen  Farbstoff erhält, wenn man     2,5-p'-p"-Dichlor-          dianilidobenzochinon    mit einer Lösung von  Chlor in     Schwefeldichlorid,    entsprechend der  Zusammensetzung     SCl3,    und zwar im Ver  hältnis von 1     Mol.        2,5-p'-p"-Diohloranilido-          benzochinon    zu 1     Mol.        SC13,    bei höherer  Temperatur behandelt.

   Der neue Farbstoff  bildet ein bordeauxrotes Pulver, das sich in  konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit blauviolet  ter Farbe löst und Wolle aus der     Küpe        vio-          lettbraun    färbt.    <I>Beispiel</I>  7,18 Teile 2,5 - p'- p"-     Dichlordianilido-          benzochinon    werden in etwa der 20fachen  Menge     Nitrobenzol    suspendiert und dann un  ter Kühlung bei etwa 5 bis 10   mit 5,8 Tei  len einer Lösung von Chlor in Schwefel  dichlorid, entsprechend der Zusammen  setzung     SCh,    versetzt. Hierauf wird auf  <B>100'</B> erhitzt und das Gemisch einige Zeit    bei dieser Temperatur belassen.

   Der neue  Farbstoff wird sodann kalt filtriert, mit  Alkohol nachgewaschen und getrocknet. Die  Reaktion kann auch bei Gegenwart von  säurebindenden Mitteln, wie Kreide,     Mg0     oder dergleichen durchgeführt werden.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Farbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man 2,5 - p'- p"- Dichlordianilidobenzochinon mit einer Lösung von Chlor in Schwefel- dichlorid, entsprechend der Zusammensetzung SCl3, und zwar im Verhältnis von 1 Mol. 2,5-p'-p"-Dichloranilidobenzochinon zu 1. Mol. SC13, bei höherer Temperatur behandelt. Der neue Farbstoff bildet ein bordeaux rotes Pulver, das sich in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit blauvioletter Farbe löst und Wolle aus der Küpe violettbraun färbt.
