Description
<B>Zusatzpatent</B> zum Hauptpatent Nr. 108932. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Farbstoffes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen Farbstoff erhält, wenn man 2,5-Dianilido- toluchinon mit einer Lösung von Chlor in Schwefeldichlorid, entsprechend der Zu sammensetzung SC13, und zwar im Verhält nis von 1 Hol. 2,5-Dianilidotoluchinon zu 2 Hol. SCl3, behandelt. Der neue Farbstoff bildet ein rotbraunes Pulver, das sich in kon zentrierter .Schwefelsäure mit trübvioletter Farbe löst und Wolle aus der Küpe rötlich braun färbt.
<I>Beispiel</I> 6,08 Teile 2,5-Dianilidotoluchinon wer den in etwa der 20fachen Menge Nitrobenzol suspendiert und dann unter Kühlung bei etwa 5 bis<B>10'</B> mit 5,6 Teilen einer Lösung von Chlor in Schwefeldichlorid, entsprechend der Zusammensetzung SC13, versetzt, worauf die Mischung einige Zeit gerührt wird. Der neue Farbstoff wird sodann kalt fil triert, mit Alkohol nachgewaschen und ge trocknet. Die Reaktion kann auch bei Gegen wart von säurebindenden Mitteln, wie Kreide, Mg0 oder dergleichen, durchgeführt werden.
