  <B>Zusatzpatent</B> zum Hauptpatent Nr. 108932.    Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen     Farbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen  Farbstoff erhält, wenn man     2,5-Dianilido-          benzochinon    mit einer Lösung von Chlor  in     Schwefeldichlorid,    entsprechend der Zu  sammensetzung     SC13,    und zwar im Verhält  nis von 1     Mol.        2,5-Dianilidobenzochinon    zu  3     Mol.        SC13,    behandelt.

   Der neue Farbstoff       bildet    ein rotbraunes Pulver, das sich  in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit     röt-          lichvioletter    Farbe löst und Wolle aus der       I%iipe    braun färbt.  



  <I>Beispiel</I>  5,8 Teile     '),5-Dianilidobenzochinon    wer  den in etwa, der 20fachen Menge Nitrobenzol  suspendiert und dann unter Kühlung bei       -twa    5 bis<B>10'</B> mit 8,4 Teilen     einer    Lösung  von Chlor in     Schwefeldichlorid,    entsprechend  der Zusammensetzung     SC13,    versetzt, worauf  die Mischung einige Zeit     gerührt    wird.    Der neue Farbstoff wird sodann kalt fil  triert, mit Alkohol nachgewaschen und ge  trocknet. Die     Reaktion    kann auch bei Gegen  wart von säurebindenden Mitteln, wie Kreide,       Mg0    oder dergleichen, durchgeführt werden.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Farbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, da.ss man 2,5-Dianilidobenzochinon mit einer Lö sung von Chlor in Schwefeldichlorid, ent sprechend der Zusammensetzung SCl3, und zwar im Verhältnis von 1 Mol. 2,5-Dianilido- benzochinon zu 3 Mol. SC13,, behandelt. Der neue Farbstoff bildet ein rotbraunes Pulver, das sich in konzentrierter Schwefel säure mit rötlichvioletter Farbe löst und Wolle aus der Küpe braun färbt.
