Sablier pour véhicules à moteur. L'invention concerne un sablier pour véhicule à moteur présentant au moins un ré cipient avec un passage pour le sable et un dispositif susceptible d'être actionné depuis le piège du conducteur pour ouvrir et fermer le dit passage. Ce sablier est caractérisé par le fait que le passage et fermé par un arbre pouvant se mouvoir rotativement entre deux positions extrêmes et comportant une perfo ration diamétrale en regard du passage de sable, le tout de manière que l'ouverture de ce passage s'effectue par rotation de l'arbre.
Une forme d'exécution de l'objet de l'in vention est représentée, à titre d'exemple, sur le dessin ci-joint.
La fig. 1 en montre une coupe longitudi nale; La fi-. 2 en. est une coupe selon la ligne 11-II dans la fig. 1.
En se référant au dessin, 1 est un réci pient à, sable dont le fond est formé par deux entonnoirs 2 disposés l'un à côté de l'autre. Chaque entonnoir a une ouverture 3 au- dessous de laquelle passe un arbre 4 tournant dans des paliers 5. Ces derniers sont figés par des vis 6 sur un double fond 7 du réci pient. L'alésage des paliers est percé, en re gard des ouvertures 3, d'orifices 8 communi quant avec ces dernières et avec une ouver ture 9 dans le fond 7, directement au-dessous des paliers 5.
Chaque partie d'arbre enfermée dans les paliers présente une perforation dia métrale 10 pouvant être mise en communica tion avec les orifices 8 du palier,et les ouver tures 3 et 9 du récipient.
L'une des extrémités de l'arbre 4 porte un levier 11 qui est relié à une tringle 18 coopérant avec un levier d'actionnement non représenté, placé près du siège du conduc teur et susceptible de faire un mouvement d'oscillation entre deux positions limites. Sur l'autre extrémité de l'arbre 4 est assujetti un segment denté 12 engrenant avec un pignon 13 calé sur le bout d'un arbre 14 disposé aiz- dessus de l'arbre 4 et parallèlement à ce der nier. L'arbre 14 passe au travers des parois des entonnoirs 2. Les perçages nécessaires à cet effet sont rendus étanches par des coussi- nets 15. En regard des ouvertures â, l'ar bre 14 porte des doigts 16 servant à remuer le sable se trouvant devant ces ouvertures.
Ceci facilite la sortie du sable pour le cas où celui-ci est durci pour une cause ou pour une autre. Une gouttière en tôle 17, adaptée au dessous de chaque orifice 9 au double fond du récipient, conduit le sable sortant devant l'une .des roues arrière du véhicule.
Le fonctionnement du sablier décrit est le suivant: Dans une des positions extrêmes du levier d'actionnement, l'arbre 4 se trouve dans une telle position par rapport aux paliers 5 que la perforation diamétrale en regard de chaque ouverture 3 a une direction sensiblement hori zontale. Le passage de sable du récipient est alors fermé par l'arbre 4. Lorsqu'on amène le levier d'actionnement dans l'autre position extrême, l'arbre 4 est tourné de manière que la perforation diamétrale vient se placer en alignement avec les orifices 3, 8 et 9 du réci pient et des paliers 5 permettant ainsi la sor tie du sable.
Lors de la rotation -de l'arbre 4, l'arbre 14 est entraîné par celui-ci et broie, au moyen des doigts 16, les gros morceaux de sable avant qu'ils.passent par lesdits ori fices.
