Fig. 1 est une vue en élévation de l'appa reil, côté film, le couvercle étant enlevé; Fig. 2 est une vue en élévation de l'appa reil, du côté du mécanisme; Fig. 3 représente schématiquement un dispositif de commande du réglage de vitesse et d'arrêt à la position d'arrêt; Fig. 4 montre le même dispositif en posi tion de marche; Fig. 5 est une coupe suivant la ligne 5-5 de la fig. 3; . Fig. 6 est une coupe suivant la ligne 6-6 de la fig. 4;
Le régulateur de l'appareil représenté permet de fonctionner sur une très grande gamme de vitesses de rotation qui peuvent atteindre jusqu'à 100 tours-seconde. Ce ré gulateur est caractérisé par un plateau mo bile 42 (fig. 3) relié à une pièce 43 solidaire de l'arbre 24, par des biellettes 44, 45, 46, 47 articulées, par une extrémité, sur le pla teau 42 ou sur la pièce 43, et;
Cinematographic camera. The present invention relates to an apparatus for taking cinematographic views, characterized in that it comprises a drive mechanism consisting of a single speed reduction gear train arranged between the ring gear of the barrel of a spring. motor and a shaft carrying a film drive claw, said shaft transmits both its rotational movement to the shaft of a shutter via the shaft of a double-acting centrifugal governor whose action is controlled by means of a double shoe brake controlled from outside the device and which determines the starting, stopping and speed adjustment of the mechanism, a brake and freewheel device allowing,
on the other hand, to secure each of the winding or unwinding reels to the drive mechanism when it is used for winding and to brake said reel when it is used for unwinding.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention, as well as an alternative detail.
Fig. 1 is an elevational view of the apparatus, film side, the cover being removed; Fig. 2 is an elevational view of the apparatus, from the mechanism side; Fig. 3 schematically shows a device for controlling the speed control and stopping in the stop position; Fig. 4 shows the same device in the on position; Fig. 5 is a section taken along line 5-5 of FIG. 3; . Fig. 6 is a section taken along line 6-6 of FIG. 4;
Fig. 7 shows a variant of the speed and stopping adjustment device, seen schematically; Fig. 8 shows the method of mounting the bobbin-holder shafts; Fig. 9 is a side elevational view of the control members of a counter drum. The apparatus shown comprises a casing 1 having a central partition 2, parallel to the optical axis of the apparatus and coming from the foundry in one piece with the casing.
The film drive members, that is to say a claw 3 with a crank 4, a guide passage 5, a debtor 6 with its two pressure rollers 7 and 8, as well as two reels of film 9 and 10, are mounted on one side of this partition, as can be seen in fig. 1, while the other side of said partition serves as a support for the assembly of the drive and regulator mechanism, which is arranged between this partition and a plate held by spacers.
This mechanism (fig. 2) is organized as follows: the ring gear 13 of a barrel 14 meshes with a pinion 16 of a gear train 16, 17, 18, 19, the last pinion of which meshes with a pinion 20, mounted on the shaft 21 of the claw crank 4.
The shaft 21 carries another pinion 22, engaged with a worm 23 mounted on the lower end of the vertical shaft 24 of a centrifugal governor: The other end of this shaft carries a second worm 25 , meshing with a pinion 26 integral with the shaft 27 of a shutter 28.
The claw 3, the regulator and the shutter 28 are therefore driven by firing the crown 13 of the barrel 14, by the transmission 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 22 ,. 23, 25, 26, so that a perfect regularity of the walking of the three organs above is obtained, which does not take place in the known apparatuses, where the training of each of these organs is done independently. from the crown of the barrel.
The reduction gear 16, 17, 18, 19 also drives, via the pinion 17, on the one hand, the pin 29 of the winding coil 10 via a pinion 30, mounted on this pin by means a brake and freewheel device which will be described later and, on the other hand, the axis 31 of the debtor 6 by means of a pinion 32 mounted idle on an axis fixed on the partition 2 and d 'a pinion 33 integral with the debtor. This therefore results in a perfect synchronization of operation between the winding reel 10, the debtor 6 and the driving claw 3, and, through the latter, between these members and the regulator of the shutter.
In the apparatus described, therefore, an appreciable saving in gears is achieved and, at the same time, regular operation of the apparatus without efforts liable to be opposed, and without jerks.
The spring mechanism is reassembled by a key, integral with a pinion 36 of the barrel, which meshes with a ratchet 35 held by a stop pawl 37. A cam 38, actuated by hand, enables the pawl to be released. 37 of the ratchet wheel 35 during the rolling of the film by the crank.
The film unwinding reel 9 is mounted on an axis 39. The rotation of this axis in the unwinding direction is braked by a device similar to that fitted to the axis 29 of the winding reel, but arranged to operate. in the opposite direction, so that the film is always kept stretched, while for the winding of the film, the axis 39 carries a pinion 40 mounted idly and can be made integral with it by a freewheel device, said pinion 40 being driven by the crown of the barrel through the intermediary of a wheel 41 and a pinion 41a.
The regulator of the apparatus shown makes it possible to operate over a very wide range of rotational speeds which can reach up to 100 revolutions per second. This regulator is characterized by a movable plate 42 (fig. 3) connected to a part 43 integral with the shaft 24, by connecting rods 44, 45, 46, 47 hinged at one end on the plate 42 or on part 43, and;
by the other end, on weights 48, 49, the plate resting on a coil spring 50 disposed between this plate and a movable bush 51, sliding on the shaft 24 of the regulator, said bush itself being supported by a strong phis coil spring 52, mounted on the shaft 24, between the part 43 and the sleeve 51.
This embodiment of the regulator eliminates the risk of tearing of the massets at high rotational speeds, the articulations of the links allowing them to take almost horizontal positions, the lowering speed of the plate 42 being faster at flow rate than at the end, thanks to the different forces of the springs 50 and 52.
The gear change and stop device which controls the regulator .con sist in an elbow lever 53, 54, pivoted at 55 on the frame of the apparatus.
On this lever is articulated, at the end of its arm 53, a brake shoe 56 comprising two pads 57 and 58, these pads being able to come into contact with the underside of the plate 42 due to the centrifugal regulator. As the lever 53, 54 is free to deviate more or less from its position shown in fig. 3, this plate can descend more or less along the shaft 24, that is to say that the device can reach a greater or lesser speed.
On the other hand, given that the shoe 56 is articulated on the end of the arm 53, the pads 57, 58 always apply over their entire surface against the plate 42 and thus produce efficient and precise braking, which does not take place in known devices, where the brake is generally constituted by a single pad, the largest surface of which is not made automatically parallel to the plate of the regulator.
In order to achieve the variation of the rotational speeds of the apparatus, the lower end of the arm 54 has the shape of an inverted T , a branch 61 of which can come into contact with a disc 59 mounted eccentrically on a 5% axis, fixed to the housing and controlled by hand by means of a button 60 (fig. 6).
Depending on whether the upper part of the disc 59 is more or less close to the branch 61 of the arm 54, the lever may deviate more or less from its stop position shown in FIG. 3, and the appliance will be able to run at higher or lower speeds.
The lever 53, 54 being mounted loosely on its pivot axis 55, a control device is provided to apply it against the disc 59, this device also controlling the stopping of the apparatus. It consists of a disc 63 also mounted on the axis 55 and comprising two lugs 64 and 65 arranged in such a way that one of them, 64, when it is applied against the arm 54, brings it back to its position. stop in which the shoes of the shoe 56 are strongly pressed against the plate 42 (fig. 3) and that the other lug, 65, when it is applied against the arm 53, forces the lever 53, 54 to deviate from this position until the branch 61 abuts against the disc 59 (fig. 4).
The disc 63 is held in position by a .rappel spring 66, fixed by its other end to the frame, and it is controlled by hand by means of a button 67 integral with the axis 55 (FIG. 5).
So that the shutdown of the device always occurs at a time when the shutter is closed, there is provided (fig. 3, 4) on the claw-holder shaft 21, a cam 68 comprising a hollow 69 which is located opposite the branch 62 of the arm 54 in T of the lever 53, 54 when the shutter is closed. On the other hand, the length of this branch 62 is calculated so that it penetrates into the hollow 69 when the device is stopped.
As a result, this stopping can only occur when the cam 68 is in its position shown in FIG. 3, that is, when the shutter will be closed. In another embodiment, this result can also be obtained in a slightly different way, as shown in fig. 7. In this embodiment, the branch 62 is replaced by a tooth 70, which penetrates into the notches of a toothed cam 71, mounted on the claw-holder shaft 21.
Finally, the intermittent movement of the device is achieved by pressing a button 72 integral with a rod 73 articulated on the arm 54, which is deviated from its stop position as long as the pressure on the button 72 is maintained, a return spring, not shown in the drawing, bringing this button to its original position as soon as the pressure is released.
It was indicated above that the axes 29 and 39 of the reels 10 and 9 for winding and unwinding the film were provided with positive brakes and freewheels, so that each of the reels can be braked when unwinding. film and make it integral with the drive mechanism when it was winding.
This device is shown in fig. 8 for the unwinding reel 9 mounted on the shaft 39 and made integral with the latter by the latching of a leaf spring 74. On the axis 39 are mounted idle the pinion 40 dragged by the motor mechanism, as indicated above, and a ratchet wheel 75. As shown in fig. 8, the wheel 75 fits, over a part of its thickness, in a recess provided in the pinion 40 and it can engage with it by means of two inclined planes 76, 77, when the pinion rotates in the direction of the arrow b which corresponds to reassembly of the film (fig. 1).
On the other hand, a pawl 78, fixed to the partition 2, prevents the ratchet wheel 75 from rotating in the direction of the arrow a, that is to say in the direction of the unwinding of the film. The shaft 39 also carries a bell 79, made integral with it in rotation by means of a pin 80, but which can slide along this shaft by virtue of slots in which the pin 80 is housed. A spring 82 , one end of which is fixed to the shaft 39, pushes the bell 79 against the wheel 75 by its other end. The operation of this device is as follows: When the film is unwound, the latter tends to rotate the reel 9 and, with it, shaft 39 in the direction of arrow a.
Under these conditions, the ratchet wheel 75 cannot rotate, being retained by the pawl 78, and it brakes, by friction with the bell 79, the rotation of the shaft 39. The film therefore remains stretched. On the other hand, when one wants to reassemble the film on the reel 9, the crown of the ba rillet drives the pinion 40 in the direction of arrow b. This pinion is made integral with the ratchet wheel 75 by the inclined planes 76, 77 and, this wheel not being prevented from rotating in this direction by the pawl 78, drives, by friction, the bell 79 and the shaft 39 , integral with it in rotation. On the other hand, this friction drive allows the necessary sliding of the shaft relative to the wheel 75 when the volume of the wound film increases.
The axis 29 of the unwinding reel 10 is provided with the same device, but operating in the opposite direction, so that, when the film is wound up on the reel 10, the reel 9 turns freely and stretches the film, and vice versa. -versa. The crown 13 of the barrel 14 also drives, via a pinion 83 mounted loosely on the partition 2 and a pinion 84, a shaft 85 carrying the control members of a counter 86 (FIG. 2). .
This command is shown in fig. 9 and it is organized as follows: The shaft 85 carries two eccentrics 87, 87 '(the second is not visible in the figure) which it drives in rotation by friction using a spring and a lug.
On these eccentrics are mounted two double pawls 89, 89 'and 90, 90' which drive, by their movement, a large ratchet wheel 91 integral with a graduated drum 86 forming the counter. When the film is unrolled, it is the claws 89 and 90 of the pawls which drive the counter, while, on reassembly, the latter is driven in the opposite direction by the claws 89 'and 90'. The counter therefore works both for forward and reverse, and it can be reset at will by hand, being mounted in friction on its axis 39, thanks to a leaf spring 93, the maneuver is made. by means of an external lever.
