TRAINING DEVICE FOR RECORDING AND / OR RESTITUTING MAGNETOGRAMS.
The invention relates to the drive of devices used for recording and / or reproducing magnetograms, devices in which the mechanism is driven by a motor via a transmission and comprising an independent flywheel, all of which so that the winding of the magnetogram from one reel to the other in one direction and / or the other can take place at a speed significantly greater than the normal speed of the magnetogram during recording or reproduction.
In such devices, the greatest speed can be obtained by the fact that the drive of the means ensuring rapid transport of the magnetogram is derived from the flywheel which is driven by the engine via a transmission. The flywheel always turns at the required speed when the means of transport are still at rest, or when they are only turning at normal speed for recording or reproducing magnetograms, and it transmits directly the kinetic energy accumulated there, so that the speed is less subject to variations than in the case where this drive is directly derived from the motor axis. This allows lower power motors to be used.
According to the invention, the drive described is carried out very simply by the fact that the axis of the flywheel drives, via a transmission, a rotary organ which drives, by means of a coupling to friction, the axis of the winding reel, while in addition, an intermediate wheel (or an intermediate axis) is provided between the flywheel and a member integral with the axis of the winding reel, which allows to couple the flywheel with this member as desired, therefore to drive the winding coil at a greater speed than in the case where the intermediate wheel is disengaged.
Preferably, the flywheel is formed by at least two discs, at least one of which is arranged and / or dimensioned in a particular way for driving means ensuring rapid displacement of the magnetogram.

The description of the appended drawing, given by way of non-limiting example, will make it clear how the invention can be implemented, the features which emerge both from the text and from the drawing, of course, forming part of the invention.
Fig. 1 is a plan view of the device according to the invention, the frame plate being removed.
Fig. 2 is a section through the plane II-II of FIG. 1.
Axis 1 of the motor drives with the aid of a pulley 2 via a belt 3, the flywheel 4, whose axis 5 acts as a drive roller (sound roller), for the magnetogram. The advancement of the magnetogram.- me is obtained by applying a pressure roller 6 against the sound roller 5, so that the magnetogram, passing between these two rollers, is driven by friction. On the axis 5 of the flywheel 4 is a pulley 7, which drives, via a belt 8, the pulley 9, which, by means of a friction clutch 10, causes the rotation of the 'axis 11 on which is fixed the winding coil, not shown in the drawing, dumagnetogram.
The belt 3 can advantageously be a spiral wire and to avoid the annoying noise, at least one of the discs 2 and 4 is provided with a damping coating 12 or consists of a damping material.
To get a quick start, axis 5 carries a disc 13.
The axis 11 on which the winding coil is mounted also carries a disc 14, integral with this axis. An intermediate wheel 15 can turn; with the aid of a lever 16, around the axis 17. When the wheel 15 is moved inwards, in a position such that it acts as a coupling between the disc 13 and the disc 14, a judicious choice of transmission ratios makes it possible to ensure that the axis 11, which carries the winding coil, rotates faster than in the case where the wheel is moved outwards.
As a result of the mass of the flywheel 4, the speed of rotation of the axis 11 is immediately increased to the greatest value, without this resulting in a significant variation in the speed of rotation of the axis 5 and therefore of the axis 1 of the motor. The energy required to increase the speed of rotation of the axis 11, is provided by the kinetic energy of the flywheel 4, so that the drive motor itself does not have to directly supply the energy required for. acceleration.
Therefore, and as moreover proved by tests, the power of the motor can be notably lower than in the case of a direct coupling between the axis 11 and the axis 1 of the engine.
On the axis 18 carrying the unwinding reel, there is, in the embodiment shown, a disc 19 which, by means of a belt 20, can be driven by a disc 22. The disc 21 is carried. by a lever 22, which can rotate around the axis 23, so that it suffices to apply the disc 21 against the flywheel 4 to obtain the desired return of the unwinding reel.
When passing from the slow advancement of the magnetogram to the rapid movement, respectively to the return stroke, the pressure roller releases the magnetogram, As when passing from one operating state to another, as a result of inertia coils, it is possible that the magnetogram is subjected to additional tensions, it is advisable to proceed to the passage so as to eliminate in the intermediate positions, the effect of all the driving parts on the magnetogram. At the same time, a clutch device has been provided, preferably with both coils, which prevents breakage of the magnetogram as well as the formation of loops.
This is ensured, for example, by a braking disc 24, respectively 19, mounted on the axes 11, respectively 18, on which presses, by means of an angled lever and under the effect of a spring 26, a shoe 27; which causes the braking of the axis II, respectively 18. To remove this blocking, le.patin 27 can be lifted from the braking disc 24, using the cord 28. These two reels blocking devices can advantageously be both activated by means of the cord 28, by means of the ac-

coupling 5, 6, which causes the advancement of the magnetogram, and of the control mechanism for the various operating positions.
Although the various movements can be provided by different drive motors, to obtain the effect according to the invention, advantageously a single motor is used which drives all the moving parts.
It goes without saying that the invention is in no way limited to the exemplary embodiment shown, but that several variants are possible without departing from the scope of the invention.
