Montre étanche. L'objet de la présente invention est une montre étanche qui possède une bague filetée vissée dans la carrure et au moyen de la quelle une glace en matière incassable est serrée contre la lunette.
Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de la montre selon l'invention. La figure est une coupe partielle suivant un diamètre de la montre.
La carrure est désignée par a; elle est venue de fabrication avec une lunette al, munie de nervures circulaires a2 contre les quelles vient s'appliquer le bord de la glace incassable b. Dans un taraudage a3 de la carrure est vissée une bague filetée c au moyen de laquelle on peut presser fortement la glace contre la lunette.
Le mouvement â est monté dans un cercle d'encageage e ajusté lui-même dans un tour nage cylindrique a4 de la carrure. Un ressort circulaire f, en forme d'assiette sans fond entaillée sur son pourtour, maintient le cercle d'encageage du mouvement d contre la portée a5. Ce ressort prend appui contre le fond g de la boite qui est vissé dans un taraudage a' de la carrure. Le fond g est muni d'une fraisure circulaire contenant une bague h de métal malléable qui rend le joint étanche.
Le montage du mouvement dans la boite s'opère en introduisant successivement, dans la carrure, les pièces dans l'ordre suivant lequel elles ont été décrites. La glace b, placée la première, sera pressée contre la lunette al par la bague filetée c; la pression exercée fera pénétrer la matière malléable de la glace entre les nervures a5 de la lunette a1, assurant ainsi par un joint à labyrinthe une parfaite étanchéité. On in troduira ensuite le mouvement avec son cercle d'encageage, puis le ressort f et finalement le fond g de la boite.
Celui-ci ne pressant pas directement sur le cercle d'encageage, mais indirectement au moyen du ressort f, son serrage jusqu'à étanchéité parfaite ne sera pas influencé par des varia tions dans l'épaisseur du cercle d'encageage.

The middle is designated by a; it comes from manufacture with a telescope al, provided with circular ribs a2 against which the edge of the unbreakable glass is applied b. A threaded ring c is screwed into a tapping a3 of the middle part by means of which the crystal can be strongly pressed against the bezel.
The movement â is mounted in a casing circle e itself adjusted in a cylindrical turn a4 of the caseband. A circular spring f, in the form of a bottomless plate notched on its periphery, maintains the caging circle of the movement d against the bearing a5. This spring bears against the bottom g of the case which is screwed into a thread a 'of the middle part. The bottom g is provided with a circular countersink containing a ring h of malleable metal which seals the seal.
The movement is assembled in the case by successively inserting the parts in the middle part in the order in which they have been described. The glass b, placed first, will be pressed against the bezel al by the threaded ring c; the pressure exerted will cause the malleable material of the glass to penetrate between the ribs a5 of the bezel a1, thus ensuring a perfect seal by a labyrinth seal. We then introduce the movement with its casing ring, then the spring f and finally the bottom g of the box.
As the latter does not press directly on the casing ring, but indirectly by means of the spring f, its tightening to a perfect seal will not be influenced by variations in the thickness of the casing ring.
