Boîte de montre La présente invention a pour objet une boîte de montre comprenant un fond vissé dans la carrure et présentant des pans d'écrous disposés de façon à ménager, lorsque le fond est entièrement vissé, un espace annulaire libre autour desdits pans, pour l'introduction d'une clé correspondante, caractérisée en ce que ledit espace annulaire est constitué par une creu- sure ménagée entièrement dans le fond de la boîte, le bord fileté étant conformé et disposé de façon que le joint du fond avec le bord inférieur de la carrure soit situé au-dessous du fond de ladite creusure.
Le dessin représente, à titre d'exemples, deux formes d'exécution de la boîte de montre objet de l'invention.
La fig. 1 est une vue en coupe verticale partielle de la première forme d'exécution. La fig. 2 est une vue analogue de la seconde forme d'exécution, et la fig. 3 est une vue en plan de dessous de cette seconde forme d'exécution.
La boîte de montre-bracelet représentée dans la fig. 1 est destinée à un mouvement à remontage automatique. Elle comprend une carrure-lunette 1 portant une glace 2, et un fond 3.
Le fond 3 présente un bord 4 fileté extérieurement en 5 ; il est vissé dans un filetage intérieur 6 de la carrure 1. Le bord 4 du fond présente, au bas du filetage 5, une bride extérieure 7 qui, lorsque le fond est entièrement vissé dans la carrure, vient appuyer contre le bord inférieur 8 de cette dernière, avec l'interposition éventuelle d'un paquetage d'étanchéité 9.
Dans le bord 4 du fond 3 est ménagée une creusure annulaire 10 dont la paroi intérieure est polygonale et forme des pans d'écrous 11 destinés à coopérer pour le vissage et le dévissage du fond avec un clé annulaire à pourtour intérieur correspondant que l'on introduit dans la creusure 10.
Le fond 12 de cette creusure est situé, lorsque le fond 3 est entièrement vissé, au-dessus du bord inférieur 8 de la carrure 1 contre lequel appuie la bride 7.
La partie centrale du fond 3 est légèrement tronconique. L'indice 13 désigne un cercle d'agrandissement appuyant sur la surface -inté- rieure du fond de la boîte, à l'endroit de la creusure 10.
La boîte de montre-bracelet représentée dans les fig. 2 et 3 est destinée à un mouvement non automatique: elle ne diffère de celle de la fig. 1 que par le fait que la creusure an- nulaire 30, dont la paroi intérieure 31 est polygonale et forme les pans d'écrous, est ménagée légèrement plus au centre du fond et que sa paroi extérieure forme un angle obtu avec le

fond 32 de ladite creusure et forme la paroi intérieure d'une contre-creusure intérieure 34 dans laquelle est logé un ressort ondulé 35 sur lequel repose le pied.profilé d'un cercle d'agrandissement 33.
Dans une variante, le ressort 35 n'existe pas. On retrouve ici aussi, au bas du filetage 25, une bride extérieure 27 qui, lorsque le fond est entièrement vissé dans la carrure- lunette 21, vient s'appuyer contre le bord infé- rieur 28 de la carrure, avec interposition éventuelle d'un paquetage d'étanchéité 29. La partie centrale du fond 23 est plate. Le fond 32 de la creusure annulaire 30, qui forme la base des pans d'écrous 31, est situé au-dessus du bord inférieur 28 de la carrure qui coopère avec la bride 27 pour former le joint de la boîte.
La disposition décrite des pans d'écrous formant la paroi intérieure d'une creusure annulaire ménagée entièrement dans le fond permet à réaliser des montres extra-plates, à remontage automatique ou non automatique.

The drawing represents, by way of examples, two embodiments of the watch case which is the subject of the invention.
Fig. 1 is a partial vertical sectional view of the first embodiment. Fig. 2 is a similar view of the second embodiment, and FIG. 3 is a bottom plan view of this second embodiment.
The wristwatch case shown in fig. 1 is intended for a self-winding movement. It comprises a caseband-bezel 1 carrying a crystal 2, and a back 3.
The bottom 3 has an edge 4 externally threaded at 5; it is screwed into an internal thread 6 of the middle part 1. The edge 4 of the back has, at the bottom of the thread 5, an outer flange 7 which, when the back is fully screwed into the middle part, comes to rest against the lower edge 8 of the latter, with the possible interposition of a sealing package 9.
In the edge 4 of the bottom 3 is formed an annular recess 10 whose inner wall is polygonal and forms nut faces 11 intended to cooperate for screwing and unscrewing the bottom with an annular key with a corresponding inner periphery that is introduced into the recess 10.
The bottom 12 of this recess is located, when the bottom 3 is fully screwed on, above the lower edge 8 of the middle part 1 against which the flange 7 rests.
The central part of the bottom 3 is slightly tapered. The index 13 designates an enlargement circle pressing on the inside surface of the bottom of the box, at the location of the recess 10.
The wristwatch case shown in Figs. 2 and 3 is intended for a non-automatic movement: it does not differ from that of FIG. 1 only by the fact that the annular recess 30, the inner wall 31 of which is polygonal and forms the nut faces, is made slightly more in the center of the bottom and that its outer wall forms an obtuse angle with the

bottom 32 of said recess and forms the interior wall of an interior counter-recess 34 in which is housed a corrugated spring 35 on which rests the profiled foot of an enlarging circle 33.
In a variant, the spring 35 does not exist. Here too, we find, at the bottom of the thread 25, an external flange 27 which, when the back is fully screwed into the caseband-bezel 21, comes to rest against the lower edge 28 of the caseband, with the possible interposition of a sealing package 29. The central part of the bottom 23 is flat. The bottom 32 of the annular recess 30, which forms the base of the nut faces 31, is located above the lower edge 28 of the middle part which cooperates with the flange 27 to form the seal of the case.
The arrangement described of the nut faces forming the inner wall of an annular recess formed entirely in the back allows ultra-thin watches, with automatic or non-automatic winding, to be produced.
