Verfahren zur Darstellung von p-Glykolylaminobenzolarsinsäure. In dem Hauptpatent ist die Darstellung der p - Glykolylaminobenzolarsinsäure durch Erwärmen von Monohalogenacetylarsanilsäure mit Alkalien beschrieben.
Es wurde nun gefunden, dass die p-Gly- kolylaminobenzolarsinsäure auch erhalten wer den kann, indem man die nach dem im Schweizer-Patent Nr. 149253 angeführten Verfahren erhältlichen Ester der Ogyacyl- aminoarylarsenverbindungen vom Typ As O3 H2 . Ar . NH . CO . (CH2) n . 0 . CO . H einer partiellen Verseifung unterwirft.
Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist ein Verfahren zur Darstellung von p-Gly- kolylaminobenzolarsinsäure, welches dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass man den p-Glykolyl- aminobenzolarsinsäure - essigsäureester durch Erwärmen mit ',verdünnten Alkalien partiell verseift.
Die entstandene Säure ist schwer löslich in Alkohol und Eisessig, unlöslich in Aceton und Benzol. Sie zeichnet sich durch geringe Giftigkeit und hohen Heilwert aus. <I>Beispiel:</I> 31,7 gr des Essigsäureesters der p - Gly- kolylaminobenzolarsinsäure (Darstellung siehe Schweizer - Patent Nr. 149253) werden in 109 eins Wasser und 8,3 cm3 Natronlauge (40<B>(1</B> B6) gelöst und zur Lösung weitere 8,3 cm3 Natronlauge gegeben. Die Lösung wird nach einstündigem Kochen filtriert und gekühlt.
Aus dem Filtrat kristallisiert das Natronsalz der p - Glykolylaminobenzolarsin- säure aus. Die freie Säure kristallisiert aus der mit Salzsäure angesäuerten wässerigen Lösung des Natronsalzes. Ausbeute 18 gr.

The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of p-glycolylaminobenzolaric acid, which is characterized in that the p-glycolylaminobenzolaric acid ester is partially saponified by heating with dilute alkalis.
The resulting acid is sparingly soluble in alcohol and glacial acetic acid, and insoluble in acetone and benzene. It is characterized by low toxicity and high healing value. <I> Example: </I> 31.7 g of the acetic acid ester of p-glycolylaminobenzolaric acid (see Swiss patent no. 149253 for a description) are dissolved in 109 liters of water and 8.3 cm3 of sodium hydroxide solution (40 <B> (1 < / B> B6) and a further 8.3 cm3 of sodium hydroxide solution is added to the solution.
The sodium salt of p-glycolylaminobenzolaric acid crystallizes out of the filtrate. The free acid crystallizes from the aqueous solution of the sodium salt acidified with hydrochloric acid. Yield 18 gr.
