Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung eines braunen Nüpenfarbstoffes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen brau nen Küpenfarbstnff erhält, wenn man Di- benzanthrona,zin von der Formel:

das nach dem Verfahren der Schweiz. Pa- tentsehriften Nr. 130160 und 136922 erhal ten werden kann, nach dem Reduzieren und Oxydieren mit Luft bromiert. Der neue Farbstoff ist Brom- und stickstoffhaltig, löst sich in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit vio letter Farbe und färbt Baumwolle aus blauer Küpe in blauen Tönen, die beim Verhängen an der Luft in ein Braun von vorzüglicher Wasch- und Sodakochechtheit und hervor- ragender Lichtechtheit übergehen,
das durch Chloren noch reiner wird. <I>Beispiel</I> 5 Teile des durch Reduktion mit Na- triumhydrosulfit und Natronlauge und nach- herigem Ausblasen aus dem Farbstoff der Schweiz. Patentschrift Nr. 130160 erhält lichen Produktes werden in. 250 Teilen Ni- trobenz-ol suspendiert und 1 Teil Eisenchlo rid und 25 Teile Brom zugegeben. Hierauf wird das Reaktionsgemisch langsam auf<B>80'</B> erhitzt und 20 Stunden bei dieser Tempera tur gehalten. Nach dem Erkalten wird der Farbstoff abgesaugt und mit Benzol, Alko hol und Wasser gewaschen.
<I>Beispiel 2:</I> 5 Teile des im Beispiel 1 beschriebenen Reduktionsproduktes werden in 125 Teilen Wasser suspendiert und hierzu 25 Teile Brom gegeben. Dann wird das Reaktionsgemisch langsam auf<B>80'</B> erhitzt, einige Stunden bei dieser Temperatur gehalten und wie üblich aufgearbeitet. Der Farbstoff hat im wesent lichen die gleichen Echtheitseigenschaften wie der des Beispiel 1.
