  Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent     Nr..294339.       Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     Schwefelfarbstoffes.            Glegenstand    vorliegenden Patentes ist ein  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Schwefel  farbstoffes. Das Verfahren ist dadurch ge  kennzeichnet,     dass    man auf     4-(p-Oxy-phenyl-          amino)-3'-ehlor-N-methyl-diphenylamin    Schwe  fel einführende Mittel einwirken     lässt.     



  Als Schwefel -einführende Mittel werden       #yorteilhaft        Alkallpolysulfide    verwendet, die  man in Gegenwart eines     Glykolmonoalkyl-          Üthers    bei     100-1251>    einwirken     lässt.     



  Der erhaltene neue     Sehwefelfarbstoff    stellt  ein dunkles, rot bronzierendes Pulver dar,  das sieh in     konz.    Schwefelsäure mit klar blauer  Farbe löst und Baumwolle aus Schwefel  natrium enthaltender Flotte in klarer,     rot-          stichig    blauer Nuance anfärbt.

      <I>Beispiel:</I>    In eine     Polysulfidlösung,    hergestellt durch  Verschmelzen von-<B>156</B> Teilen     Sch-wefel    und  <B>107</B> Teilen     6011/eigem        techn.    Schwefelnatrium  mit 400 Teilen     Äthylenglykolmonomethyläther,     werden<B>100</B> Teile eines trockenen     Leukoindo-          phenols    von- folgender Konstitution     eingetra-          j"en:

    Die so erhaltene     Schwefelungssehmelze    wird  bei     1101'    48 Stunden unter     Rückfluss    gekocht.

    Nach Entfernung des Lösungsmittels durch       Wasserdampfdestillation    kann der Farbstoff  durch Lüftung gefällt werden.     D#r    getrock  nete Farbstoff stellt ein dunkles, rot     bronzie-          rendes    Pulver dar, das sich in     konz.    Schwe  felsäure mit klar blauer Farbe löst und Baum  wolle ans Schwefelnatrium enthaltender Flotte  in klarer,     rotstichig    blauer Nuance     anfärbt.    Die  Färbungen weisen neben guten     Allgemein-          echtheiten    insbesondere eine für Schwefelfarb  stoffe hervorragende Chlorechtheit     auf.
