  <B>Zusatzpatent</B> zum Hauptpatent Nr. 294339    Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     Schwefelfarbstoffes.       Gegenstand vorliegenden Patentes ist ein  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Schwefel  farbstoffes. Das Verfahren ist dadurch ge  kennzeichnet, dass man auf     4-(p-Oxy-phenyl-          amino)    - 3',4'-     dichlor    - N -     methyl    -     diphenylamin     Schwefel einführende Mittel einwirken lässt.

      Als Schwefel einführende Mittel werden  vorteilhaft     Alkalipolysulfide        verwendet,    die  man in     Gegenwart    eines     Glykolmonoalkyl-          äthers    bei 100-125  einwirken lässt.  



  Der erhaltene neue Schwefelfarbstoff stellt  ein dunkles, rot bronzierendes Pulver dar,  das sich in     konz.        Schwefelsäure    mit klar  blauer Farbe löst und Baumwolle aus Schwe  felnatrium enthaltender Flotte in klarer,     rot-          stiehigblauer    Nuance anfärbt.

      <I>Beispiel:</I>    In eine     Polysulfidlösung,    hergestellt durch  Verschmelzen von 156 Teilen Schwefel und  107 Teilen     601/o-igem        techn.        Schwefelnatrium     mit 400 Teilen     Äthylenglykolmonomethyläther,          werden    110 Teile eines trockenen     Le-Üoindo-          phenols    von folgender Konstitution     eingetra-          @en:

    Die so erhaltene     Schwefehingsschmelze    wird  bei 110  48 Stunden unter     Rückfluss    gekocht.

    Nach Entfernung des     Lösungsmittels    durch       Wasserdampfdestillation    kann der Farbstoff  durch Lüftung gefällt werden. Der getrock  nete Farbstoff stellt ein     dunkles,    rot bronzie  rendes Pulver dar, das sich in     konz.    Schwefel  säure mit klar blauer Farbe löst und Baum  wolle aus Schwefelnatrium enthaltender Flotte       in    klarer,     rotstichigblauer    Nuance anfärbt. Die  Färbungen weisen neben guten Allgemein  heiten insbesondere eine für Schwefelfarb  stoffe hervorragende Chlorechtheit auf.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Schwefel farbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man auf 4-(p-Oxy-phenylamino)-3',4'-dichlor-N- methyl-diphenylamin Schwefel einführende Mittel einwirken lässt. Der erhaltene neue Schwefelfarbstoff stellt ein dunkles, rot bronzierendes Pulver dar, das sich in konz. Schwefelsäure mit klar blauer Farbe löst und Baumwolle aus Schwefel natrium enthaltender Flotte in klarer, rot stichigblauer Nuance anfärbt. UNTERANSPRUCH: Verfahren nach Patentanspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man Allialipolysulfide in Gegenwart eines Glyliölmonoalliyläthers bei Temperaturen von 100-125 einwirken lässt.
