Description
Easily soluble, stable pomace dye preparation. In a further development of the invention according to main patent no. 114285, relating to easily soluble, stable vat dye preparations, it was found that stable preparations that are easily vatted are also obtained if the dyes are treated with dispersing sulfonic acid salts and then separated from them, for example by washing and then mixes with alkali and hydrosulfite.
Here, too, the treatment with the distributing salts can be or by evaporation. Drying of the mixture of dyestuffs with solutions of the sulfonic acid salts takes place, in which case free alkali can also advantageously be added, in which case the amount of alkali required for vatting is then added again after washing out.
The solid preparations obtained according to the present process have the advantage over those of the main patent that they contain a higher percentage of dye; the selection of the dispersants can also be made regardless of their possible undesirable effects in the vat. Example: 20 kg di - (- p-chloi-anilido) -benzoquinone. in the form of 50% paste are well distributed in 50 liters of water and mixed with 2 kg of monopoly soap and 3 kg of 40 B6 sodium hydroxide solution. This mixture is kept at about 60 for a while, then the dye is suctioned off.
The loose powder obtained after drying is finally intimately mixed with 7 kg of caustic soda and 7 kg of hydrosulfite powder.
