Description
Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent Nr. 218080. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Farbstoffes der Dioxazinreihe. Gegenstand dieses Zusatzpatentes ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Farbstoffes der Dioxazinreihe, welches darin besteht, dass man die durch Behandeln von 2. 5-Di-(3"- carboxy-2'-sulfo diphenylamin-4'-amino)-3 .
6- dichlor-1.4-benzochinon mit 20%igem Oleum bei 45 G erhältliche Farbstoffs.ulfonsäure so lange mit einer wässrigen Mineralsäure, z. B. mit Schwefelsäure oder mit konzentrierter wässriger Salzsäure, erhitzt, bis eine mit Wasser bis zur neutralen Reaktion ge waschene Probe in Wasser nicht mehr lös lich ist. Hierbei werden die in dem Aus gangsstoff enthaltenen Sulfonsäuregruppen abgespalten.
Die so erhaltene Verbindung ist in Form des Alkalisalzes in Wasser löslich. Das Na triumsalz stellt ein blaues Pulver dar, das sich in Wasser mit blauer Farbe löst. Es färbt Baumwolle und Viskosekunstseide in echten klaren blauen Tönen.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 10 Gewichtsteile der durch Behandeln von 2.5-Di-(3"-carboxy-2'-sulfodiphenyl- amin-4'-amino)-3. 6-dichlor-1 . 4-benzochinori i mit 20%igem Oleum bei 45 C erhältlichen Farbstoffsulfonsäure werden in 300 Ge wichtsteilen 70%iger Schwefelsäure so lange bei Siedetemperatur erhitzt, bis eine mit Wasser bis zur neutralen Reaktion ge waschene Probe mit Wasser nicht mehr in Lösung geht. Nach dem Erkalten wird mit Wasser verdünnt, abgesaugt und mit heissem Wasser neutral gewaschen.
Dann bringt man den Farbstoff in Wasser durch Zugabe von etwas Natriumcarbonat in Lösung, wäscht das Natriumsalz mit Natriumehlorid aus, saugt ab, tränkt mit verdünnter Natrium chloridlösung neutral und trocknet.
Der so erhaltene Farbstoff stellt ein blaues Pulver dar, das sich in Wasser mit blauer Farbe löst. Er färbt Baumwolle und Viskosekunstseide in echten klaren blauen Tönen.
