Gegenstand vorliegenden Patentes ist ein  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines sauren     Woll-          farbstoffes,    das dadurch gekennzeichnet ist,  dass man den Farbstoff der Formel:

    mit einem sulfonierenden Mittel behandelt.

    Der neue Farbstoff, der zwei     Sulfo-          gruppen    im Molekül enthält, löst sich in kon  zentrierter Schwefelsäure grün, in Wasser  klar     grünstichig    blau und färbt Wolle in  klaren     grünstichig    blauen Tönen von guter  Licht- und     Alkaliechtheit.            Beispiel:     Der nach bekannten Methoden hergestellte  Farbstoff der Formel:
