  <B>Zusatzpatent</B> zum Hauptpatent Nr. 189649.    Verfahren zur Herstellung eines sauren     Wollfarbstoffes.       Gegenstand vorliegenden Patentes ist ein  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines sauren  Wollfarbstoffes, das dadurch gekennzeichnet  ist, dass man den Farbstoff der Formel:

    mit einem sulfonierenden Mittel behandelt.

    Der neue Farbstoff, der zwei     Sulfogruppen     im Molekül enthält, löst sieh in konzentrier  ter Schwefelsäure grün, in Wasser blau und  färbt Wolle in klaren,     grünstichig    blauen  Tönen von guter Licht- und     Alkaliechtheit     und gutem     Egalisierungsvermögen.            Beispiel:     Zwecks     Sulfonierung    wird der Farbstoff  der Formel:

    mit der fünffachen Menge 32%igen     Oleums     mehrere Stunden auf<B>80'</B> erhitzt, bis sich  eine Probe in verdünnter     Natriumacetat-          lösung    ohne Rückstand löst.

   Die Aufarbei  tung und Überführung in das     Natriumsalz     erfolgt in üblicher Weise; der Farbstoff ent  hält zwei     Sulfogruppen    im Molekül. Er löst  sich in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure grün, in  Wasser blau und färbt Wolle in klaren,       grünstichig    blauen Tönen von guter     Licht-          und        Alkaliechtheit    und gutem     Egalisierungs-          vermögen.
