Description
<B>Zusatzpatent</B> zum Hauptpatent Nr.<B>261978.</B> Verfahren zur Herstellung eines grünen Farbstoffes der Phthaloeyaninreihe. Das vorliegende Patent betrifft ein Ver fahren zur Herstellung eines grünen Farbstof fes der Phthalocyaninreihe, das dadurch ge kennzeichnet ist, dass man symmetrisches Te- trathiophenoxykupferphthalocyanin mit Chlor- sulfonsäure sulfoniert.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 10 Gewichtsteile symmetrisches Tetrathio- phenoxykupferphthalocyanin, erhalten nach dem Schweizer Patent Nr. 269708, werden in 120 Gewichtsteilen Chlorbenzol verrührt und mit 4,5 bis 6 Gewichtsteilen Chlorsulfonsäure versetzt, worauf man so lange auf dem Was serbad erwärmt; bis die Farbstoffbildung be endet ist und eine Probe nach Entfernen des Chlorbenzols in Wasser vollständig löslich ge- worden ist. Es wird nun mit Wasser verrührt, das Chlorbenzol mit Wasserdampf abgetrieben und der Farbstoff durch Fällen mit Kochsalz, Filtration und Auswaschen mit verdünnter Kochsalzlösung isoliert.
Der Farbstoff färbt Papier, Baumwolle und Seide in schönen grü nen Tönen.

The present patent relates to a process for producing a green dye of the phthalocyanine series, which is characterized in that symmetrical tetrathiophenoxy copper phthalocyanine is sulfonated with chlorosulfonic acid.
<I> Example: </I> 10 parts by weight of symmetrical tetrathiophenoxy copper phthalocyanine, obtained according to Swiss Patent No. 269708, are stirred in 120 parts by weight of chlorobenzene and mixed with 4.5 to 6 parts by weight of chlorosulfonic acid, whereupon the bath is kept on for a long time warmed; until the dye formation has ended and a sample has become completely soluble in water after the chlorobenzene has been removed. It is then stirred with water, the chlorobenzene is driven off with steam and the dye is isolated by precipitation with sodium chloride, filtration and washing with dilute sodium chloride solution.
The dye dyes paper, cotton and silk in beautiful green tones.
