Safety device in the winding and pull-down time-setting mechanisms of watch movements. The object of the invention is a safety device in the winding and pull-down time-setting mechanisms of watch movements. Its purpose is to ensure the. winding stem so that the latter does not untimely disengage from the movement when it is brought into the position corresponding to the setting of the time of the hands.
It is understood that such devices already exist, had, for different. For reasons known to the watch technician, they did not give satisfactory results.
The device according to the invention is characterized in that the winding stem comprises a collar arranged so that it abuts against a stop piece, for example a flange, fixed on the movement plate, when the winding stem is brought into the position corresponding to the setting of the time of the hands, said stopper being established in such a way that it can be moved away from the winding stem so that it passes through the collar when it is wants to remove the winding stem from the movement. The appended drawing shows, by way of example, one embodiment of the object of the invention.
Fig. 1 the. shown in elevation and partially in section; Fig. 2 is a cross section thereof, along a plane passing through the stopper, the winding stem and the pull tab.
In the example shown, the re-mount rod 1 comprises a throat 2, in which is engaged the tenon 8 of the pull-tab 4, the pivot of which is constituted by a screw at door 5. The pull-tab 4 controls in a known manner, the pinion sliding when the rod 1 is pulled outwards respectively pushed back into its initial position.
The sliding pinion is placed on square 6 of rod 1, mass it is not shown in the drawing.
The winding stem 1 has a collar 7 which abuts against a stop 8 when the stem 1 is pulled outwards and brought into the position corresponding to the setting. the time of the watch hands. The stop 8 is formed by the free end placed in the path of the collar 7 of a flange formed by a blade 9 making a spring.
This. blade is held on the plate 10, by means of a screw 11 and constantly tends to move away, by its end 8, from the. winding stem 1, as shown in phantom lines, in fic. 2, However, a pressure screw 12 is provided which keeps said end 8 of the flange 9 engaged, against the winding stem 1 and in the. trajec toire of collar 7. Slack veins can be removed from winding stem 1 by loosening it. screw 12, after having released from the notch 3 of the rod, the pull tab 4, by means of the screw 5.
It will be noted that the pull tab 4 and the flange 9 are placed on either side of the. winding stem, which makes it possible to adjust the lateral movement of the latter. The flange 9 could be replaced by any other member fulfilling the same purpose in cooperation with the collar 7.
Thanks to the deerit device, the. re-mount rod cannot untimely disengage from the movement, even when the. pull tab 4 out of groove 2.
