Description

  

  Dispositif d'entraînement de la roue motrice des cycles.    La présente invention a pour objet un  dispositif d'entraînement de la roue motrice  des cycles. Ce dispositif est caractérisé en ce  que chacune des pédales du cycle est reliée  à l'une des deux roues principales d'un diffé  rentiel et est reliée par un dispositif de com  mande propre à la roue motrice.  



  Le dessin ci-annexé représente, à titre  d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de l'objet  de l'invention, forme d'exécution adaptée de  façon amovible à une bicyclette.  



  Cette forme d'exécution comprend un faux  moyeu 1 fixé sur la fourche inférieure 2 à  l'aide de plaques 3, par exemple, immobilisées  par des boulons 4 ou par tout autre moyen.  



  Dans ce faux moyeu est logé le différen  tiel constitué par deux pignons satellites 5  montés fous sur un même axe 6 et sur les  quels engrènent deux autres pignons 7 et 8  dont les axes 9 et 10 disposés     orthogonale-          ment    par rapport à l'axe 6 sont montés sur  roulements à billes 11.  



  Sur l'extrémité de chacun de ces axes 9  et 10 sont fixés Lin pignon denté 12 et une  manivelle 13 avec pédale 14'.    Comme dans les bicyclettes ordinaires, le  moyeu de pédalier 14 comporte toujours son  axe 15 monté sur roulements à billes 16 et  son pignon d'entraînement 17, mais les ma  nivelles sont supprimées. L'axe 15 comporte  à la place de ces dernières un pignon de  roue libre 18.  



  Les pignons 12 sont reliés aux pignons  18 au moyen de chaînes à maillons (non re  présentées) et le pignon 17 est relié à et en  traîne la roue arrière 19 par l'intermédiaire  d'une autre chaîne à maillons également non  représentée, pour la simplicité du dessin.  



  Il est facile de se rendre compte du fonc  tionnement. Si l'on appuie, par exemple, sur  la manivelle de droite (supposée relevée) l'en  traînement de la roue 19 se fera du côté de  ladite manivelle, par l'intermédiaire des pi  gnons 12-18 et 17.  



  Grâce au différentiel, la manivelle de  gauche sera simultanément remontée et si  l'on appuie sur cette dernière l'entraînement  de la roue se fera par l'intermédiaire des  pignons 12 et 18 de gauche et du pignon 17.  



  La manivelle de droite sera alors remon  tée et prête à être actionnée à nouveau.      Au dessin, le différentiel est monté dans  un carter fixé de     facon    amovible à la fourche,       mais    ce carter pourrait être venu de fabrica  tion avec celle-ci.

  This embodiment comprises a false hub 1 fixed to the lower fork 2 using plates 3, for example, immobilized by bolts 4 or by any other means.



  In this false hub is housed the differential formed by two planet gears 5 mounted idly on the same axis 6 and on which mesh two other gears 7 and 8, the axes 9 and 10 arranged orthogonally to the axis 6 are mounted on ball bearings 11.



  On the end of each of these axes 9 and 10 are fixed Lin toothed pinion 12 and a crank 13 with pedal 14 '. As in ordinary bicycles, the bottom bracket hub 14 still has its axle 15 mounted on ball bearings 16 and its drive pinion 17, but the levels are omitted. The axle 15 comprises instead of the latter a freewheel pinion 18.



  The pinions 12 are connected to the pinions 18 by means of link chains (not shown) and the pinion 17 is connected to and drags the rear wheel 19 by means of another link chain, also not shown, for the simplicity of drawing.



  It is easy to see how it works. If one presses, for example, on the right crank (supposedly raised) the dragging of the wheel 19 will take place on the side of the said crank, by means of the pins 12-18 and 17.



  Thanks to the differential, the left crank will be raised simultaneously and if the latter is pressed, the wheel will be driven by means of the left pinions 12 and 18 and of the pinion 17.



  The right hand crank will then be raised and ready to be operated again. In the drawing, the differential is mounted in a housing removably attached to the fork, but this housing could have been manufactured with the latter.
