Abstract

La présente invention concerne un acier inoxydable ferritique ayant d'excellentes propriétés vis-à-vis de la corrosion et de formation de tôle. L'acier est constitué, en pourcentages en poids, de 0,003 à 0,035 % de carbone, 0,05 à 1,0 % de silicium, 0,10 à 0,8 % de manganèse, 18 à 24 % de chrome, 0,05 à 0,8 % de nickel, 0,003 à 2,5 % de molybdène, 0,2 à 0,8 % de cuivre, 0,003 à 0,05 % d'azote, 0,05 à 1,0 % de titane, 0,05 à 1,0 % de niobium, 0,03 à 0,5 % de vanadium, 0,010 à 0,04 % d'aluminium, et la somme C+N est inférieure à 0,06 %, le reste étant du fer et des impuretés inévitables, le rapport (Ti+Nb/(C+N) étant supérieur ou égal à 8, et inférieur à 40, et le rapport Tieq/Ceq = (Ti+0,515*Nb+0,940*V)/(C+0,858*N) étant supérieur ou égal à 6, et inférieur à 40, et Leq = 5,8*Nb + 5*Ti*Si étant supérieur ou égal à 3,3, l'acier produit au moyen de la technologie DAO (décarburation à l'argon-oxygène).
