Abstract

Un article usiné (tel quun fil ou un câble gainé ou isolé, par exemple) préparé selon un procédé consistant à appliquer un revêtement constitué dune composition durcissable à lhumidité sur un fil ou un câble, puis à faire réagir la composition durcissable à lhumidité avec de leau, la composition durcissable à lhumidité comprenant au moins une résine comportant des groupes silane réactifs hydrolysables et un catalyseur à létain se caractérisant par un état doxydation +4 et un ligand bis(alcoxyde). Le produit de ce procédé est un fil ou un câble recouvert dune gaine comprenant au moins une résine polyoléfinique comportant des groupes silane réactifs hydrolysables et un catalyseur à létain, le catalyseur à létain comportant un ligand bis(alcoxyde) et se caractérisant par un état doxydation +4. Le produit de ce procédé est également un fil ou un câble recouvert dune gaine comprenant i) le produit de réaction entre au moins une résine polyoléfinique comportant des groupes silane réactifs hydrolysables et de leau, et ii) au moins un catalyseur à létain comportant un ligand bis(alcoxyde) et se caractérisant par un état doxydation +4.
