Abstract

Ci-après, la description d'un disque abrasif pour une machine à meuler à plusieurs disques. La machine à meuler comprend un support discoïde (possédant un bord circonférentiel sur lequel est placé le matériau abrasif) et un trou central opposé (pour la fixation sur un arbre d'entraînement de la machine à meuler); sachant que le trou central s'étend à travers le support discoïde (en épaisseur). Une partie du trou central possède un diamètre plus grand que le diamètre de la connexion à l'arbre, ce qui fait qu'une chambre annulaire est formée dans l'épaisseur du support. Le disque comprend au moins une gorge radiale formée sur la surface avant du support discoïde et se prolongeant depuis la chambre annulaire jusqu'au bord circonférentiel du disque, de manière à ce qu'un fluide de refroidissement introduit dans l'arbre d'entraînement puisse s'accumuler dans la chambre annulaire et puis s'écouler dans la gorge radiale vers le bord abrasif du disque.
