Abstract
L'invention a pour objet un procédé de revêtement en continu d'au moins une bande métallique par un film fluide en polymère réticulable exempt de solvan t ou de diluant non réactif et dont la température de ramolissement est supérieure à 50 ~C. Le procédé consiste à faire défiler en continu la bande métallique (1) sur au moins un cylindre de support (3), à former, sur un cylindre (20) par écoulement forcé, une nappe (30) dudit polymère réticulabl e à l'état fondu, à former, à partir de ladite nappe (30), ledit film (31) en polymère réticulable et à effectuer un transfert total en épaisseur de ce fi lm sur la bande métallique (1) et , entre la zone de formation de la nappe (30) sur le cylindre (20) et la zone d'application du film (31) sur la bande métallique, à conditionner thermiquement le polymère réticulable pour abaiss er sa viscosité. L'invention a également pour objet un dispositif de revêtement pour la mise en oeuvre de ce procédé.
