Abstract

SISTEMA DE COMUNICAçãO SEM FIO COM COMPRIMENTO DE PREFIXO CìCLICO CONFIGURáVEL Para transmitir dados de maneira a atenuar os efeitos prejudiciais do espalhamento por retardo, são inicialmente determinadas as áreas de cobertura esperadas para várias transmissões a serem enviadas em várias partições de tempo. Comprimentos de prefixo cíclico para estas transmissões são selecionados com base nas áreas de cobertura esperadas. O comprimento de prefixo cíclico para cada transmissão pode ser selecionado dentre um conjunto de comprimentos de prefixo cíclico permitidos com base na área de cobertura esperada para essa transmissão, no escalonamento de pilotos utilizado para a transmissão e assim por diante. Por exemplo, um comprimento de prefixo cíclico menor pode ser selecionado para cada transmissão local, e um comprimento de prefixo cíclico maior pode ser selecionado para cada transmissão de área ampla. Os comprimentos de prefixo cíclico selecionados podem ser sinalizados para os terminais. As transmissões são processadas (moduladas pela OFDM, por exemplo) com base nos comprimentos de prefixo cíclico selecionados. Os comprimentos de prefixo cíclico podem ser selecionados periodicamente, como, por exemplo, em cada super-quadro.
