Abstract
VIDRAçA TRANSPARENTE COM UM CAMPO DE VISãO QUE PODE SER ESCURECIDO EM UMA PARTE DE SUA SUPERFìCIE, UTILIZAçãO DE UMA VIDRAçA TRANSPARENTE E PROCESSO PARA COMANDAR UM ELEMENTO FUNCIONAL QUE SE APRESENTA SOB A FORMA DE UM ELEMENTO DE SUPERFìCIE ELETROCRÈMICO DE NATUREZA TODA SóLIDA EM UMA VIDRAçA TRANSPARENTE Em uma vidraça transparente com um campo de visão que pode ser escurecido em uma parte de sua superfície pelo comando elétrico de pelo menos um elemento funcional integrado em um compósito de várias camadas e cuja transmissão de luz é variável de modo reversível, na qual o elemento funcional, em especial sob a forma de um sistema de camada eletrocrómica de natureza sólida, compreende pelo menos uma camada funcional eletrocrómica contida entre dois eletrodos de superfície, os eletrodos de superfície (2E, 4) do elemento funcional (2) e suas conexões (12, 14, 16, 18, 19, 20) são, de acordo com a invenção, adaptados uns aos outros e dispostos espacialmente uns em relação aos outros de tal modo que o escurecimento começa em uma borda do elemento funcional e, sob uma tensão que resta aplicada entre os eletrodos de superfície (2E, 4), se propaga de modo contínuo sobre a superfície desse último, até sua coloração homogênea completa. Também é descrito um processo para comandar um tal elemento funcional, que é vantajosamente utilizável como pára-sol de comando elétrico para pára-brisa de veículos e análogos.
