Abstract

SUBSTRATO DE METAL REVESTIDO PARA O USO NA REDUçãO CATALìTICA DE EMISSõES DE DESCARGA DE MOTOR, MéTODO PARA A SUA PREPARAçãO E PARTìCULAS DE ALUMìNIO USADAS NO MESMO Expõe-se um substrato de metal revestido, de utilidade para carregar um catalisador de tratamento de emissões de descarga, tal como um catalisador de conversão tríplice, para o uso com plataformas de pequenos motores. O substrato de metal revestido compreende um metal tal como um aço inoxidável, um aço carbono, uma liga de FeCr, Hastelloy e assemelhados. O revestimento no substrato de metal compreende um silicato de alumina que tem partículas de alumina impregnadas no mesmo. O revestimento é aplicado utilizando-se uma dispersão líquida que contém um silicato de alumínio e as partículas são espalhadas no revestimento de silicato de alumínio enquanto o revestimento ainda está úmido. O substrato de metal revestido é então calcinado. Depois disso, um revestimento de lavagem que contém um catalisador de tratamento de descarga de motor pode ser aplicado à superfície do substrato de metal revestido.
