Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA A REMOçãO CATALìTICA DO GáS H~ 2~S DE UMA CORRENTE DE GáS áCIDO, MISTURA PARA REMOVER GáS H~ 2~S DE UMA CORRENTE DE GáS áCIDO, E, USO DE UM COMPLEXO DE QUELATO DE METAL". A invenção refere-se a um método para eliminar cataliticamente gás H~ 2~S de uma corrente de gás ácido, na presença de um ligando de quelato de Fórmula Geral (I) em que X representa hidrogênio, um metal alcalino ou NH~ 4~^ +^; n representa 1, 2 ou 3; pelo menos um dos grupos R^ 1^ a R^ 6^ representa um grupo alquila, arila, alquilóxi, arilóxi, carbóxi ou hidroxila e os outros grupos representam hidrogênio; e o metal do complexo de quelato de metal é um metal polivalente, que pode estar presente em mais do que um nível de oxidação. A invenção também refere-se a uma mistura para eliminar gás H~ 2~S de uma corrente de gás ácido, dita mistura contendo um complexo de quelato de metal compreendendo aminocarboxilato, e ao uso de um complexo de quelato de metal compreendendo aminocarboxilato, para eliminar gás H~ 2~S de uma corrente de gás ácido.
