Abstract
La invencion se relaciona con un metodo para eliminar cataliticamente gas H2S de una corriente de gas acido, en presencia de un ligando de quelato de la formula general (I), en la que X representa hidrogeno, un metal alcalino, o NH4+; n representa 1, 2 o 3; cuando menos uno de los grupos R1 a R6 representa un grupo alquilo, arilo, alquiloxi, ariloxi, carboxi o hidroxilo y los otros grupos representan hidrogino; y el metal en el complejo de quelato de metal es un metal polivalente, que puede estar presente en mas de un nivel de oxidacion. La invencion tambien se relaciona con una mezcla para eliminar gas H2S de una corriente de gas acido, la mezcla conteniendo un complejo de quelato de metal que comprende aminocarboxilato y con el uso de un complejo de qelato de metal que comprende aminocarboxilato para eliminar gas H2S de una corriente de gas acido.
