São descritos processos de poliéster usando um reator tubular (5) e aparelhos correspondentes. Em particular, são descritos processos e aparelhos correspondentes incluindo um reator tubular de esterificação com uma zona de reação de recirculação (4) (zona RR) e uma zona de reação de perfil de reação tampão (6) (zona PRPR), especialmente quando operada com uma parte significativa da conversão total ocorrendo na zona de reação de perfil de reação tampão (zona PRPR).
