"COMPOSTOS QUE MODULAM ATIVIDADE DE PPAR E MéTODOS PARA A SUA PREPARAçãO". Esta invenção está relacionada com compostos que alteram a atividade de PPAR. A invenção está também relacionada com sais farmaceuticamente aceitáveis dos compostos, com composições farmaceuticamente aceitáveis compreendendo os compostos ou os seus sais, e com métodos para os utilizar como agentes terapêuticos para tratar ou evitar dislipidemia, hipercolesterolemia, obesidade, hiperglicemia, aterosclerose, hipertrigliceridemia e hiperinsulinemia num mamífero. A presente invenção relaciona-se também como métodos para preparar os compostos descritos.
