Abstract

"DISPOSITIVO PARA A PROTEçãO DE ELETRODOS DE SOLDAGEM". A presente invenção refere-se a um dispositivo para proteger um eletrodo (2) durante a soldagem à resistência de uma peça a soldar, particularmente chapa metálica (4, 5). O dispositivo compreende uma tira (1) que é aplicada sobre o eletrodo (2) e pode ser deslocada em relação ao último, um material de suporte (14) da dita tira tendo um revestimento eletricamente condutivo (15). Para aperfeiçoar a qualidade de soldagem, o revestimento (15) é aplicado ao lado oposto da tira (1) em relação ao eletrodo (2) e consiste em um material cuja dureza é inferior àquela do material de suporte (14) da tira (1). O revestimento macio, eletricamente condutivo, aperfeiçoa a transferência de corrente do eletrodo para a peça a soldar, assim prevenindo salpicos de solda e aperfeiçoando a qualidade de soldagem.
