Abstract

"RECEPTOR DE COMUNICAçãO COM UM EQUALIZADOR ADAPTATIVO BASEADO EM RAKE". A presente invenção apresenta um método para estimar um sinal transmitido. Um sinal sem fio é recebido incluindo um canal piloto e pelo menos um outro canal. O sinal sem fio é processado usando um receptor front end RAKE para prover uma pluralidade de saídas front end. A estimação de canal é efetuada na pluralidade de saídas front end para obter uma pluralidade de estimativas de canal. As estimativas de canal são, a seguir, usadas para combinar a pluralidade de saídas front end em um sinal combinado. Um sinal transmitido é estimado usando um equalizador e o sinal combinado. O equalizador inclui um filtro com uma pluralidade de entradas que são adaptadas pelo uso de um algoritmo adaptativo que usa um piloto estimado que é estimado a partir do sinal sem fio recebido. O canal piloto é transmitido no sinal sem fio que incluiu o pelo menos um outro canal. O piloto estimado é extraído e provido ao algoritmo adaptativo.
