Abstract
"MANCAL DESLIZANTE SUJEITO à EXPANSãO TéRMICA". A presente invenção refere-se a um mancal (130) para suportar rotativamente um eixo mecânico cilíndrico dentro de uma superfície de suporte cilíndrica interna, no qual o eixo mecânico está sujeito à expansão térmica, o mancal (130) sendo formado de um elemento tubular tendo extremidades opostas (132, 134) e tendo uma passagem axial por ele, a superfície externa (136) do elemento de apoio (130) tendo uma nervura circunferencial externa (144, 146) adjacente a cada uma das ditas extremidades (132, 134), cada nervura tendo um diâmetro externo que permite que o elemento de apoio (130) seja posicionável deslizantemente na superfície de suporte cilíndrica interna do quadro, a passagem axial sendo definida por uma superfície de apoio central (150) de diâmetro interno para receber rotativamente o eixo mecânico, a superfície de apoio (150) tendo um comprimento axial inferior ao espaçamento entre as ditas nervuras, o mancal (130) sendo deformável dentro de limites elásticos, permitindo que o diâmetro interno da superfície de apoio (150) se expanda para aceitar a expansão térmica do eixo mecânico.
