Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA A PREPARAçãO DE ESTIRENO". Processo para a preparação de estireno compreendendo a desidratação em fase gasosa de 1-fenil-etanol em uma temperatura elevada e na presença de um catalisador para desidratação, no qual o catalisador para desidratação consiste de partículas de catalisador de alumina conformadas possuindo uma área de superfície (BET) na faixa de 80 a 140 m²/g e um volume de poro (Hg) na faixa de 0,35 a 0,65 ml/g, do qual 0,03 a 0,15 ml/g é de poros que possuem um diâmetro de pelo menos 1000 nm.
